METAL WOLF CHAOS XD, an action game for PS4/XB1/PC, will be released on August 6!

From Software has announced that the action game METAL WOLF CHAOS XD for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows will be released on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The port of the game will be developed by General Arcade, and will be marketed in Japan by FromSoftware, while Devolver Digital will handle international sales.

METAL WOLF CHAOS XD" is an updated version of the Xbox exclusive action game "METAL WOLF CHAOS" released in December 2004 for the current generation consoles. The game concept of "the catharsis of exhilaration and destruction as you use a variety of firearms to conquer an overwhelming number of enemy forces" that characterized the original version has been retained, while the visuals have been optimized and the playability has been improved.

The release date for this title has now been set for Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The game will be sold exclusively as a digital download, and pre-orders will be accepted sequentially at digital stores on each platform starting today*.
