Official Report (in Japanese only)

After the screening of "ANEMONE: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution" (hereinafter referred to as "ANEMONE"), a special trailer for the final part of "Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution," which is scheduled for theatrical release in 2021, was shown.

After a never-before-seen mechanical scene, the word "EUREKA" was shown, and it was revealed that the official title of the film would be "EUREKA: Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN High Evolution" ("EUREKA"). The audience was delighted by this pleasant surprise screening. This pleasant surprise screening was greeted with shouts of joy from the fans gathered at the venue, and after the screening, the audience applauded loudly.

Director Tomoki Kyoda, Kaori Nazuka (who plays Eureka), and producer Masahiko Minami appeared on stage to greet the audience after the screening. In response to the "EUREKA" special trailer, Nazuka said, "I knew it was a trilogy, but...," before mentioning that the word "completion" was shown at the end of the video. He was deeply moved by the feeling of having reached the end of a work in which he had been involved for a long time. Producer Minami said that "High Evolution" is "the culmination of the story of Renton and Eureka," which has been depicted in the past series and on various stages, and that "EUREKA" is "the conclusion of Eureka Seven. He also said that "EUREKA" would be a "completely new work" and that the audience would have to wait until 2021 to see it. Kyoda said, "I originally created this series because I wanted to tell a story about Eureka, so it was inevitable for me," adding, "This work and series will not end unless I tell the story of Eureka properly, so I want to make the third film a drama that is close to her. I want to make the third film a drama that is close to Eureka.

Before the stage greeting, Nazuka, who was told by the director about the setting and direction of the film, confessed that he was a little worried about Eureka in the second "ANEMONE," wondering if she would be okay after being transformed into such a selfish girl, but added, "When the director told me about the third episode, he said it would make me like Eureka a lot. I'm really looking forward to it.

When asked about the way Eureka was portrayed in this work and the thoughts that went into it, Kyoda mentioned that 14 years have passed since the TV series and that the people who watched the work have accumulated their lives, and that there is a younger generation of fans who see that this work exists based on that history, "Time and the accumulation that has passed means that we have become adults. I think that this film can be watched by adults, and that the story of adults is also depicted in the film.

The topic then turned to the mechanic battle scenes depicted in the special report, and a question was raised as to whether the atmosphere of the mecha design was different from the previous films. When asked if the atmosphere of the mechanical design was different from previous works, Kyoda replied, "This is a completely new work, so we have about 20 designers participating in this project. We were able to gather a group of people who have not been able to come together in recent years for anime, so I think we will be able to show you an interesting worldview. Touching on the importance of battle scenes in robot animation films, he passionately stated, "I want to make sure that the action entertainment is well done since it will be seen on the big screen, and I want the viewers to feel the action as much as possible. The audience applauded when Minami emphatically declared, "I will do a hand-drawn robot action film.

The topic then turned to the last scene of "ANEMONE. When asked about the impetus for spinning the third film, Kyoda replied, "There were two major pillars that inspired me to create this story, and one of them was how to portray Dewey. One of them is how to portray Dewey," he said. "I hope that by completing the story properly, I can send some kind of message to Mr. Tsujitani," he added, paying tribute to Koshi Tsujitani, who played Dewey and passed away while "ANEMONE" was still in production. He continued, "I couldn't shake the feeling that I had not done enough with Eureka's life as a character, even though I felt I had done enough.

He also mentioned that "the scene in the last scene of 'ANEMONE' where Eureka's collar is removed has a very significant meaning, and I wonder what will happen now that it is gone," and suggested a change in Eureka's position. Nazuka, who was listening to the director's words beside him, expressed his enthusiasm for the recording, saying, "I was anxious to hear what the director had to say in his own words, but now I am full of excitement," and "I hope I can grow, improve my feelings and skills so that I can face Eureka whom I will meet this time.

Kyoda said, "This series is full of characters who are swept away by great power and great destiny... This movie is about Eureka, the most swept away of them all, who wakes up from her dream and how she becomes independent and the kind of person she becomes," and Minami also said, "This is an It is a blessing for the studio that a work created 14 years ago, which is an original work, has become a series that is loved by so many people and is creating new works," said Minami.

Looking back on how Yufuko Sanpei, who plays Renton, was very nervous during the recording of the first episode of the TV series, Nazuka said, "When the TV series started, I was facing the work for one year, so 14 years later, I was allowed to do the movie, and many people came to see it today. I am very happy to see so many people here today! I realize once again how far we have come together to make this film," he said, expressing his gratitude to the fans.

Kyoda told the Eureka fans, "I didn't realize how hard it was to close the world view of the characters of a series that has continued for 14 years," and "I didn't realize how hard it was to create an original robot animation," referring to the difficulties involved in the production. I am determined to create a visual image and drama that will meet your expectations. In closing, he apologized for making the audience wait a year for the release of the film, and said, "Please wait. Everyone is doing their best. Please wait for us. The film ended on a high note.
