Crypton Future Media has released a special website for Hatsune Miku NT (New Type), a new version of its Hatsune Miku singing voice synthesis software, today, Wednesday, December 25, 2019, and has begun accepting pre-orders for the Hatsune Miku NT download product. The price is 19,800 yen (tax included).

Purchasers will be able to download and use the prototype version first in mid-March 2020 and the major release version in late August.

Hatsune Miku NT (New Type)" is a Hatsune Miku package that combines specially customized singing voice expression technology, voice library, software interface, and voice effectors.

The updated vocal editor "Piapro Studio" integrates a variety of newly developed functions. By simply typing in lyrics and melody and selecting an expression style, the direction of the song can be controlled, and the fundamentals of singing, such as vocal sharpness, staccato/legato, and pitch movement, can be set.

Furthermore, by combining the advanced voice library with the newly developed voice effector, it is possible to express everything from a cute singing voice like Hatsune Miku's, a sad exhaling voice, to an angry voice, a rattling voice, and a death voice, while maintaining audibility.
