The jacket illustration of "SWORD ART ONLINE ARISATION War of Underworld" Blu-ray & DVD Volume 2 has been revealed. In addition, a sample of the limited edition bonus novel written by Reki Kawahara and a sample movie of the bonus CD "Symphonic Alicization Orchestra War of Underworld #2" have been released.

Sword Art Online" (hereafter "SAO") is an anime work based on a novel by Reki Kawahara, winner of the 15th Dengeki Novel Award (Grand Prize), which depicts the activities of the main character Kirito in the mysterious next-generation online game "Sword Art Online" and became popular. On February 18, 2017, "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale," an anime movie based on a story written by Kawahara, was released. Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online" aired in April 2018, and"Sword Art Online: Arisimation" aired in October 2018; in October 2019, the third and latest chapter of the series, "Sword Art Online: Arisimation War of Underworld" will begin airing in October 2019.

The jacket illustration of "SWORD ART ONLINE ARISATION War of Underworld" Blu-ray&DVD Volume 2, which will be released on January 29, 2020 (Wednesday), has been revealed.
The jacket illustration was newly drawn by Kento Toya, character designer and chief animation director.

In addition, the first 12 pages of the novel "If You Wish It" written by the original author Reki Kawahara, which will be included in the Blu-ray&DVD limited edition, and a preview of the bonus CD "Symphonic Alicization Orchestra War of Underworld #2" have been released. A preview video of the bonus CD "Symphonic Alicization Orchestra War of Underworld #2" has been released.
The bonus CD "Deepening the dark" is performed by D.I.L. (CV: Yuko Kaita), Siglosig (CV: Takanori Hoshino) and Fulgur (CV: Daichi Endo), so be sure to check it out.
