Idolish Seven 2nd LIVE "REUNION" was held at MetLife Dome on July 6 and 7, 2019, where it was announced that the second season of the TV anime "Idolish Seven" will be broadcast in 2020.

Idolish Seven" (a.k.a. "Ainana"), which has been developed into a smartphone app game, TV anime, music CD, and comic, is a full-fledged rhythm game with full voice casts, released on August 20, 2015 by Namco Bandai Online. The game is a coming-of-age story about the growth and bonds between the seven members of IDOLiSH7 and their three rival teams, TRIGGER, with character designs by shoujo manga artist Arina Tanemura and scenario by Bunta Toshimi.

The TV anime "Idolish Seven 2nd LIVE 'REUNION'" was held at MetLife Dome on July 6 and 7, 2019, and it was announced that the second season of the TV anime "Idolish Seven" will be broadcast in 2020. The main staff will remain the same as the first season, produced by TROYCA. In addition, a teaser visual of Re:vale, which will make a full-fledged appearance in the second season, was also released ahead of the broadcast.

Idolish Seven", a popular idol training rhythm game, will celebrate its 4th anniversary in August this year. Idolish Seven 2nd LIVE "REUNION"" was held at Saitama's MetLife Dome on July 6 (Sat.) and 7 (Sun.), where four groups performed in front of their fans. Here is a report on the first day of the event along with the set list.

Although the day was unfortunately cloudy, the area in front of the venue was crowded with vendors and food stalls. The audience listened to the sound and cheered as if the live performance had already started. The participants at the live viewing sites around the country must have been anxiously awaiting the start of the show, thinking about the live performance that was about to begin.

And finally, "Idolish Seven 2nd LIVE 'REUNION'" began. The members wearing capes appeared on stage one after another with a movie introducing the group. Kensho Ono, who played the role of Riku Nanase, held a big flag of "REUNION" in his hand. When the key visual of the live was projected on the screen, the four groups gathered together and welcomed the audience as if the idols had jumped out of the screen. The first performance was "Let's NATSU☆" by IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER and Re:vale. The song is based on the work by IDOLiSH7, "NATSU☆Set it! The song was performed by IDOLiSH7 and TRIGGER in the movie, but this was the first time the three groups sang it together. The excitement of the audience with water guns in their hands was reminiscent of the 1st live, and the venue was filled with excitement as if summer had already arrived.

IDOLiSH7 was the first group to perform a song, "Viva! Fantastic Life!!!!!!!," with a mysterious and mature atmosphere. and the up-tempo "Dancing∞BEAT! The audience was already excited when they sang the up-tempo "Dancing∞BEAT! I hope you will join us, too! and the third song was "RESTART POiNTER". When the exact same composition as in the music video was set up on the lifter at the center stage, the audience cheered especially loudly.

Re:vale took over the warmed-up stage and sang "Gekijo" as if exploding with passionate emotions, showing a steady performance. The MC, however, was a complete change of pace, as the band performed a light-hearted exchange of words, which was very typical of their style. Shinnosuke Tachibana, who plays the role of Sen, quietly announced, "Please listen to our new song," and they began to sing "Eternity Theory," a popular song among fans. The audience was dazzled by the free and light steps.

The atmosphere was completely changed by ZOOL, a group appearing for the first time at the concert. As if to break the atmosphere, they sang their debut song, "Poisonous Gangster," with such intensity that the audience was drawn into their performance. Yuya Hirose, who plays the role of Yuu Inakiyo, said, "That's not good enough at all. Let me hear more of your voice! and performed "LOOK AT...", the audience at the MetLife Dome's voltage soared even higher.

Takuya Sato, who plays Juryunosuke, sang "Wish is Shine On The Sea" by himself, reminding the audience of the events in the movie and making everyone's hearts tighten. The audience watched with bated breath until they heard Soma Saito playing Ten Kujo and Wataru Hatano playing Raku Yaotome, and during the MC, Sato-san, who had been looking forward to the day when the three of them could sing this song together, broke down in tears. After that, they sang their debut song "DIAMOND FUSION" with unwavering dance moves, followed by "In the meantime," which showed the various faces of TRIGGER as they stretched out to sing.

Next, the two members of "MEZZO" brought a calm atmosphere to the stage. On the orange-lit stage, the sad melody of "miss you..." was sung by the audience. During the MC, the two members seemed to be in a friendly mood, calling the venue "Mezzo Life Dome" again this year, showing how well they get along. Atsushi Abe, who plays Sogo Osaka, introduced the next song, "It's a raw sky today, but the sun is going down, and I think there is moonlight above this sky," he said, and performed "Moonlight Illuminate. His quiet and calm voice touched the audience's hearts. Combined with the weather on the day of the concert, the audience, who were colored purple and light blue by the penlights, must have looked like hydrangeas shining in the night dew.

The video footage between the curtains showed the trajectory of "OO? They were greeted with an overwhelming enthusiasm, not silence or boos, as they sang their new song "Zone of Overlap. The heat of the audience surged as they sensed the growth of ZOOL, which had been described as a rebellious group at the time of their debut. IDOLiSH7 pulled the heat up even higher with their cool "GOOD NIGHT AWESOME". This year again, when Yusuke Shirai put his index finger to his mouth at the end of the song, the audience cheered in yellow. During the next song, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR EVERYTHING!", the members turned their towels around and smiled at the audience. It was impressive to see them getting on the trolley and waving their hands near the audience. Keeping the high tension, they invited Re:vale on stage and the nine sang "Happy Days Creation! This song is also impressive as one of the songs they worked together to create.

IDOLiSH7 left the stage, and an image reminiscent of "Hoshigurari no OBSERVER" was shown on the main monitor, and Soichiro Hoshi as Momo, holding a star ball (seigyoku), appeared on the center stage with the melody of "Hoshikuzu Magic". The audience's eyes were glued to the spectacular world of the special video and the performance on stage. The following song "NO DOUBT" showcased his overwhelming singing ability. They stole the hearts of the audience by pointing at the audience with their backs to the audience.

Then, as the music video was shown, TRIGGER unexpectedly appeared from the stands. The audience was then treated to a spectacular recreation of the fountain from the music video for "MEMORiES MELODiES," followed by the opening song from the first season of the anime "WiSH VOYAGE" with an impressive dance routine. The excitement of the audience reached a climax when they sang their debut song "MONSTER GENERATiON," which was also the opening song of last year's live.

After that, the three groups IDOLiSH7, TRIGGER, and Re:vale dutifully appeared on stage to answer the calls for encores. Dressed in rough live T-shirts, they expressed their appreciation to the audience. The members of the three groups called for ZOOL to join them, and the 16 members gathered again.
