Pokémon meets Sugar Morning Hong Kong Tapioca Drink Bar will open today, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 10:30 a.m.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1991, Sugar Morning has been creating dishes that appeal to the five senses based on the philosophy of medicine and food. Its sweets, in particular, have sparked an "Asian sweets boom" and are loved not only in Hong Kong, but also throughout Asia, including Japan, Taiwan, and China.

This time, the Hong Kong sweets brand "Sugar Chaos" has developed an authentic Pokémon tapioca drink as a summer-only menu item. The summer-only Pokémon Cup tapioca drink will go on sale today, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Pop-Up Stage 1 on the basement floor of the Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. new building.

The "Pokemon meets Sugar Morning Hong Kong Tapioca Drink," which will be available only during the summer season, is a power-up of Sugar Morning's commitment with inspiration from Pokemon!　The drink combines the cool texture of smoothies made with Asian summer fruits such as watermelon and mango, and the nostalgic taste of jelly and soda with Sugar Chao's special sticky tapioca to create a "delicious and cute" tapioca drink.

The tapioca drinks in each Pokémon cup, with their appealing summery colors, will definitely make you feel and look good!

Each cup on the tapioca drink menu is designed with a Pokémon that matches the flavor and color of the drink, so you can choose your favorite drink flavor, your favorite Pokémon, or even your favorite toppings such as sesame, peanut, cheese cream, or extra tapioca to create your own original tapioca drink! You can also enjoy your own original tapioca by combining your favorite toppings such as sesame, peanut, cheese cream, and tapioca.

Pokémon tapioca drinks will also be available at Sugar Chocolate stores nationwide from July 17 (Wed.).

The latest information on future "Pokemon meets Sugar Morning" stores, including this pop-up store, will be posted on Sugar Morning's official Instagram andTwitter pages, which will be updated as needed, so be sure to check them out.

The "Pokemon meets Sugar Morning Hong Kong Tapioca Drink Bar" will be held at the pop-up stage 1 on the basement floor of the Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C. Shinkan during the following two sessions, so be sure to check it out.
