Atlas' popular juvenile RPG "Persona 5" will be adapted for the stage! PERSONA5 the Stage" to be performed in Osaka and Tokyo in December 2019

Marvelous has announced that Atlus' popular game "Persona 5" will be adapted for the stage as "PERSONA5 the Stage" (Persona 5 the Stage) Performances will take place in Osaka and Tokyo in December 2019.

Persona 5" is the latest installment in the "Persona" series, a juvenile RPG set in a modern Japanese city, in which players experience familiar events such as school life, friendship, and romance, while confronting mysterious rumors, urban legends, and other occult incidents.

Since its release for PlayStationR4/PlayStationR3 in September 2016, the game has shipped over 2.7 million units worldwide and has been adapted into a TV anime. In addition, "Persona 5 The Royal," which adds many additional elements to "Persona 5," is scheduled for release on October 31, 2019.

The popular Atlus game "Persona 5" will be adapted to the stage as "PERSONA5 the Stage" (Persona 5 the Stage), which will be performed in Osaka and Tokyo in December 2019.

The stage adaptation will feature Hiroki Ino, who will play the main character, as well as many young talented actors, and will be written and directed by West of InnocentSphere, a theater company that specializes in dynamic storytelling and delicate psychological portrayals.
