The amusement facility "SEGA Akihabara No. 5" has been in operation since July 5 (Fri.). The location is near Chuo Dori. It is located next to Tokyo Radio Department Store, on the site of the former pachinko parlor "Aion Akihabara," which closed in January 2019.

Sega Akihabara No. 5 is an amusement facility that offers "UFO Catcher" and retro games.

Of the five-story store, the first three floors are mainly occupied by "UFO Catcher," while the fourth floor features a "Retro Game Corner" with many valuable retro games, including "Afterburner 2" and "The House of the Dead 2.

On the fifth floor, the first SEGA store, "Akib@ko," an event space that can accommodate a variety of events, including character exhibitions and mini live performances, will be newly established and open on July 13.

In addition, "Sega's Taiyaki," which has become a hot topic in Ikebukuro, will open its first store in the Akihabara area on the first floor. Sega no Taiyaki Sega Akihabara Store will always sell "Sega Logo Yaki," which was sold exclusively at "Sega Taiyaki Ikebukuro Store" and at "Sega Fest 2019" held in Akihabara in April, and plans to sell various collaborative Taiyaki in the future.
