The final performance will be held on July 15! The stage "Girls' Opera Revue Starlight -The LIVE-#2 revival" press conference report and the fastest stage photo!

The stage "Girls' Opera Revue Starlight -The LIVE-#2 revival" will be held at Maihama Amphitheater from July 12 to 15, 2019. A press conference was held on July 12, just before the opening of the show.

The "Girls☆Geki Revue Starlight" is a new type of entertainment that links musicals and animation. Nine girls attending a prestigious music school, each with her own dream and wish to become a "star," suddenly receive a mysterious invitation e-mail. The TV anime aired in the summer of 2018, and in October of the same year, the stage play "Girls' Opera Revue Starlight -The LIVE-#2 Transition" was staged. The project is a "two-tiered shoujo revue" that revolves around the anime and the musical, and features nine members of the main cast performing both the voice actors from the anime and the musical cast.

The upcoming "Girls' Revue Revue Starlight -The LIVE-#2 revival" will be a re-staging of the "Girls' Revue Starlight -The LIVE-#2 Transition" that was held in October 2018.

The main cast members of "Starlight 99 Group" appeared at the venue before the revival on a new stage. They talked about their enthusiasm. (Teru Ikuta, who plays Futaba Ishidou, was unable to attend the press conference due to personal reasons.)

Momoyo Koyama, who plays the main character, Karen Aishiro, said, "Exactly one year ago today was the day the first episode of the anime aired. I am happy that the curtain will open on the first day of the revival on this memorable day," she commented. I think it will be four days of nonstop sparkling.

Also, the birthday of one of the characters, Nana Oba, falls on July 12, and Moka Koizumi, who plays Nana, commented, "I think it will be a memorable day for me and for Nana-chan. Unlike Nana-chan, I want to move forward even in the reenactment," said Koizumi, who plays the role of Nana, who has "reenacted" the story many times in the anime by looping time.

One of the features of the "Revue Starlight" stage is that the cast is exclusively female. Maho Tomita, who plays the role of Shinya Tendo, said, "We are working so hard that it is hard to believe that a female cast alone can be so powerful. We want to do our best in every performance so that the audience will be impressed by the brilliance of the all-female cast. I will not let you down." She spoke of her passion for the stage, which was reminiscent of the characters she plays.

In the latter half of the press conference, Tomoaki Honma, a New Japan Pro-Wrestling wrestler, interrupted the press conference! He gave Mr. Koyama a bouquet of flowers to encourage him. The bouquet was not just any bouquet, but one decorated with flowers in the image color of the 99 groups, and the performers were impressed by the attention to detail.

Aina Aiba, who plays the role of Claudine Saijo, a former female professional wrestler with a unique background, was asked by Honma about the stage, "I hear there are some heated battles," to which she replied, "I'm trying my best to remember how I felt in pro wrestling! I'm trying my best to remember how I used to feel in pro wrestling! I'm trying my best to remember how I used to feel in pro wrestling!

In closing, Mr. Koyama said, "I want to fill the Amphitheater with lots of love and sparkles. There are tickets available on the day of the performance, so if you are interested, please visit the theater and witness the passionate stage performance of the stage girls.

Finally, here are some photos of the rehearsal. We hope you can get a glimpse of the stage.
