Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" will open in theaters nationwide on July 23, 2020 (Thursday, national holiday)! The event will be held, and a special news release video will be unveiled!

The second film in the "UC NexT 0100" project, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway," which weaves a new century of the cosmic century, has been set for release on July 23, 2002 (Thursday, national holiday), and a new "Senko no Hathaway" special feature film has been completed. It was also announced that a fan event will be held on Tuesday, March 24th, to learn more about the film's secrets.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" is the second film in the "UC NexT 0100" project, which began in 2018 and weaves a new century of the Space Century.
The film is based on the novel of the same title published in 1989 by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the director and creator of Gundam, and is scheduled to be released nationwide in 2020 as a new animated feature film trilogy.
Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, the film depicts Bright Noah's son Hathaway, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War ("Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack"), rising up against the Earth Federation government in his new mobile suit, the Xi Gundam.
The film will be directed by Shuko Murase of "Slaughter Organ" fame, with a script by Yasuyuki Mutou of "Mobile Suit Gundam UC", character design by Haruhiko Mikimoto of "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket", and character design by pablo uchida, Naoyuki Onda, and Shigeki Takuhara. The mechanical design is by Yasuhiro Moriki, mechanical design by Hajime Katoki, Kimitoshi Yamane, Seiichi Nakatani, and Nobuhiko Genma, and music by Hiroyuki Sawano of "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" fame.

The release date of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" has been set for July 23, 2002 (Thursday, national holiday), and a new special "Senko no Hathaway" video was shown. In addition, a digest video of "Char of the Counterattack" was released at the same time, which allows viewers to enjoy the film even more.

After being kept under wraps for a long time since the announcement of the film adaptation, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" will finally get underway.

It was also announced that "GUNDAM FAN GATHERING - 'Senko no Hathaway' Heirs to GUNDAM-", a fan event to explore the secrets of the film, will be held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) in Odaiba, Tokyo, on Tuesday, March 24.

At this event, the cast members who play the main characters of "Senko no Hathaway" will be unveiled for the first time.
Toru Furuya, who plays Amuro Rey, will be the guest and the leading role of "Gundam" in the new era will be taken over from Amuro Rey to Hathaway Noah.
In addition, a talk corner with the cast of "Senko no Hathaway" and a conference with the staff will be held, and the theme song artist will be announced and the latest video will be shown.

From the beginning, the fateful relationship and final battle between Amuro and Char from "Char of the Counterattack" unfolds to the theme song "BEYOND THE TIME ~Möbius no Uchu (Beyond the Sky). In the new video of "Senko no Hathaway," a new battle and the first appearance of main characters such as Hathaway Noah, the main character of the film, Gigi Andalusia, and Kenneth Slegg, accompanied by Hiroyuki Sawano's theatrical accompaniment, are shown.
The story of "Char of the Counterattack" has been succeeded to "Flash of Hathaway," and with the catchphrase "Its flash is the hope of mankind," the video is completed with a sense of innovation for the next generation.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char`s Counterattack" is set in the year 0093 of the Universal Century, 13 years after the end of the One Year War in "Mobile Suit Gundam. The story begins when Char Aznable, who has rebuilt Neo Zeon and become its commander-in-chief, decides to bring down the asteroid Axis to earth as a purge of the Earth Federation government, which continues to pollute the earth, and once again challenges the earth to a battle.
In this digest video, we see Char inspiring his ministers and the Neo Zeon army to go into battle with Sazabi, and during the battle with the Nu Gundam, he persuades Amuro, "The time has come when the Earth cannot hold out!and convinces Amuro that "the earth can't hold out any longer! Amuro also fights to stop the Axis as it accelerates toward the Earth, along with his White Base comrades.
The climactic scene, in which the two armies' mobile suits cooperate to avert the danger of a collision, is edited into a moving final scene in which Chara weeps tears of regret and Amuro, whose last strength is exhausted, fades away into the light.
The narration is provided by Ken Narita, who plays the role of Bright Noah, Hathaway's father and the man who has been watching the battle between Amuro and Char. This narration is also a must-listen.
