Tenharu Blanco! is the next original animation by P.A. WORKS of "SHIROBAKO" and "Hanasaku Iroha".
The story takes place in America, where the 19th century has come to an end and the curtain is rising on the 20th century. The story is about "Sorano Tenharu," a genius engineer with zero social skills, and "Isshiki Kozure," a skilled but cowardly samurai, who drift from Japan to the U.S. in an accident and participate in the "Transcontinental Race" to return to Japan, penniless.

Directed by Masakazu Hashimoto of "TARI TARI" and "Crayon Shin-chan Honeymoon Hurricane: The Lost Hiroshi," with original character design by manga artist Anton Shik, character design and chief animation director by Yurie Daito, and animation production by P.A. WORKS.

A New Year's greeting card has arrived from this work, which had previously announced that an anime adaptation project was underway, released the first PV, and revealed an anime teaser visual.

＜Introduction
The 19th century is drawing to a close and the curtain is rising on the 20th century.
A genius engineer "Tenharu Sorano" who has no social skills and a cowardly samurai "Isshiki Kozame" who has great ability but is a coward drifted to America from Japan by an accident. Penniless, they choose to return to Japan by participating in the "Transcontinental Race.
The race starts in Los Angeles on the West Coast and ends in New York. Riding through the wilderness in a self-made steam-powered car, competing against crazy rivals, protecting themselves from outlaws and Mother Nature...will they win the grueling race, win the prize money, and return home?
