Newly edited version of "Re:Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" on air, episodes 2 & 3 synopsis released!

The second and third episodes of the newly edited version of "Re: Zero kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu" which began airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and other networks on January 1, 2020 (Wednesday), have been released.

Re: Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu" is an anime work based on a light novel by Tatsuhei Nagatsuki. It is a fantasy about an ordinary high school student who wanders into another world on his way home from a convenience store and ends up helping a girl find what she is looking for as a thank you for saving him in the other world. Directed by Masashi Watanabe, series composition by Masahiro Yokoya, character design and chief animation director by Kyuta Sakai, and animation production by WHITE FOX.

The newly edited version of "Re:Zero kara Hajimete Isekai Seikatsu", which has been re-edited into a one-hour program with new cuts, began broadcasting on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, etc. on January 1, 2020 (Wednesday).

<Synopsis
Subaru was attacked by someone the first time, cut in the stomach by Erza the second time, and stabbed in the back with a knife by a thug the third time, and he was sure he had lost his life. However, Subaru found himself standing in the place where he first came to another world. Although Subaru thinks it is impossible, he realizes that the situation in which he is placed causes him to revert to his initial state of death every time he dies. In order to change the fate of death that will befall Satera, Felt, and Rom, he starts running through the world for the fourth time.

<Synopsis
Subaru tries to buy the insignia from Felt and return it to Satera before Erza comes to the storehouse. However, Satera appears in the middle of negotiations, and Erza attacks. Puck fights back, and nearly corners Erza, but he runs out of mana and disappears. Without Puck, Subaru and his team are unable to defeat Erza or even prevent her attack. Subaru, trapped in a desperate situation, somehow manages to escape from Felt by putting his own body on the line.

On his way home from the convenience store, a boy named Subaru Natsuki is suddenly summoned to another world. Subaru's eyes light up at the fantasy world spread out before him, but the beautiful girl who supposedly summoned him is nowhere to be found. Subaru is at a loss as to what is right and what is left. Subaru is also tangled up with a thug, as if it were a forced event, and without the promised development of a person invited to another world demonstrating supernatural powers, Subaru is mercilessly beaten up.
