New arcade rhythm game "WACCA" begins operation! Includes many songs from 2.5D musicals and anime works!

Marvelous Inc. has launched its new arcade rhythm game "WACCA" today, July 18, 2019 (Thursday), at amusement arcades and game centers nationwide.

WACCA" is a rhythm game that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or gender, by touching the "WACCA Console," Marvelous' proprietary 360-degree circular LED high-precision touch panel, in accordance with the instructions on the central screen.

The game is a new and innovative arcade game that allows players to feel a sense of exhilaration and immersion without worrying about their surroundings, thanks to the operation that requires a great deal of use of the body, such as "touching," "sliding," and "drawing circles" on the panel in time with the music, and a structure that envelops the player in a chassis.

The development of the product has been carried on under a strong partnership with the hard techno group "HARDCORE TANO*C," which is active in various fields both in Japan and abroad and has a strong presence and popularity in the world of music games, from the development planning stage, and the product development has been continued under a strong software partnership. The product includes a wide range of music genres, including 2.5D musicals, unique Marvelous music such as anime works, and famous JPOP songs.

To commemorate the full-scale operation in all regions of Japan, a campaign (period: July 18 to August 18, 2019) will be held, including a present of an original soundtrack CD.
