The story takes place in Tyrannia, a lush green land where people believe in "Koumyoujin" and the power of magic. In the past, a mage unleashed the "Dark God" to the world, but he was sealed away by the "Five Wise Men" and peace returned to Tyrania. However, decades later, Bastam, one of the Five Wise Men, plots the return of the Dark God, and in response, demons from all over the land are becoming more active. The adventures of the heroes are about to begin.


The player chooses one of three characters: Esther, who is fast, Daren, who excels in attack and physical defense, and Theobald, who excels in magic. Although only one character can be controlled, the player can switch to another character at any time by using the "Character Switch" option in the settings screen.


In the battles of this title, the player character automatically defeats enemies if the auto mode is turned on. In addition, the "offline hunting system" allows players to level up their characters even when the game is not running. This allows for easy and efficient character enhancement. The battles themselves are action-oriented, and the auto mode is automatically turned off when the virtual pad and buttons are moved, allowing the player to operate the game at will. If a certain amount of time passes without any operation, auto mode is turned on.
