Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's "Vinous Senki," a "fantastic masterpiece," has been revived as an e-book for the first time in 30 years to commemorate the Blu-ray release of the film version!

To commemorate the release of "Vinous Senki" on Blu-ray on July 26, 2019, a "fantastic masterpiece" that had been sealed for 30 years, an e-book distribution has been decided.

This masterpiece was released in 1989, at a time when high-density animated films were dominating the theatrical market, and although its quality was on par with those films, it was "sealed" for 30 years afterwards. Fans were eagerly awaiting the release of this long-unsealed animation work. It is "Vinous Senki". Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's declaration that the "seal" had been lifted opened the negative film, which had never been opened since its screening. The negative film, which ironically had been preserved in near-perfect condition due to the "sealed" film, was scanned in HD and the colors came out as if it had been waiting for this moment, and the film was successfully digitally remastered in a sharper form.
The Blu-ray of "The Battle of Vinas," a "fantastic masterpiece" that had been sealed for 30 years, will be released on July 26, 2019.
A screening of "Vinous Senki" with a stage greeting by director Yoshikazu Yasuhiko will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly on May 24 (Fri.)! LV will be held at MOVIX Amagasaki.

To commemorate its release, the manga "Vinous Senki," which was serialized in "Monthly Comic NORA" from 1987 to 1990, is now available in e-book format.

The manga consists of "Part I" (volumes 1-2), in which Hiro is active, and "Part II" (volumes 3-4), which depicts Matiu, an officer who becomes involved in a conspiracy involving the struggle for power in Ishtar after the war ends.

The theatrical anime "Vinous Senki," which was released in March 1989, is based on Hiro's activities in the original "Part I." Why not enjoy the e-book version of the comic along with the Blu-ray special limited edition of "Vinous Senki," which will be released on July 26?

<STORY>
Youth is a storm, battle is a gale...

The impact of a giant ice planet on Venus made it possible for humans to settle on the planet. Seventy years have passed since the migration, and the two autonomous states of Aphrodia and Ishtar, which divide the continent, are at war with each other. At the same time, the planet itself is warming, as if it has regained the appearance of Venus of old, and Vuinas is facing an uncertain future in terms of both politics and the environment.

Hiro, a young boy living in Afrodia, spends his time taking out his frustration with such a closed future on the "Rolling Game," a dangerous motorcycle race. Then, the Ishtar army launches a surprise invasion of Aphrodia's capital city, and Hiro and his friends' daily life is lost in the flames of war. To relieve their frustration at being deprived of even their own pleasure of racing, Hiro and his friends execute a plan to attack the Ishtar army's giant tank, the Octopus, which is attacking the city. However, the battlefield they find themselves plunging into reveals the cruel and heartless truth of the overwhelming difference in power. And this battle leads Hiro to meet the Aphrodia army and experience the reality of war further as a soldier riding a combat mono-bike. ......
