The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" premiered on TV on January 13, 2020, with nine special commercials!

The second season of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" will be broadcast for the first time on January 13, 2020 at 19:00 on CS Family Theater. In conjunction with the broadcast, nine special commercials will also be released.

The first volume of "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" is the masterpiece of popular author Yoshiki Tanaka, and is a long SF novel that was first published in 1982, followed by 10 volumes of the main story and 5 volumes of the external story.

Even now, more than 30 years after the first volume was published, the work has been developed into various media such as comics and stage performances, and in April 2018, the first season "Encounter" of the anime "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" by Production I.G was broadcast on TV. The second season, "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," a sequel to the first season, was produced in 2019 with a total of 12 episodes, divided into three chapters of 4 episodes each, and shown in theaters. This time, all 12 episodes, as well as unreleased episodes 13 and 14, will be broadcast. In addition, all 12 episodes of the first season, "Encounter," will also be broadcast on January 13th at 13:00.
