New PV of "SAO -Ex Chronicle- in KYOTO" is released! New contents written by Reki KAWAHARA and narrated by Sadajo MATSUOKA are now available on the audio guide!

A new PV for "SAO -Ex Chronicle- in KYOTO," which will be held in Kyoto forfour days from January 31 (Fri.) to February 3 (Mon.), 2020,has been released. It was also announced that a new audio guide, "Introduction to the SAO World Setting by Reki Kawahara, the original author (narration by Sadajo Matsuoka)," will be available.

Sword Art Online - Ex Chronicle" was held in Tokyo in August 2019 and drew 40,000 visitors.

A new PV of "SAO -Ex Chronicle- in KYOTO" has been released. It was also announced that "Reki Kawahara, the original author of SAO, introduces the world setting of SAO (narration: Sadajo Matsuoka)" will appear as a new audio guide.

New contents in the audio guide

The "Sound AR" voice-guided tour will include a new introduction to the world setting of SAO by the original author Reki Kawahara (narrated by Tadashijo Matsuoka), replacing the commentary by the staff recorded for the Tokyo edition!
The original author himself wrote the introduction to the world setting of each "SAO" series for this event, and Sadajo Matsuoka, who plays Kirito, will read it out loud.

＜What is Sound AR?
This is a new voice-guided tour using Sony Corporation's "Sound AR Technology," which was well-received at the Tokyo venue. The new voice guidance system uses not only images and information, but also "dual listening," in which the sounds of the surroundings and the sound being played are blended together, to provide a new experience in which EX-CHRONICLE navigator Seijiro Kikuoka and other familiar characters speak to you as if they were standing right next to you, superimposed on the sounds of the outside environment. The new experience will be superimposed on the sound of the outside environment.
Sound AR is a trademark of Sony Corporation.

TV animation exhibition area: Choice of the following two types.
(1) "SOUND AR and OHURAIIN: Business Trip Edition" (featuring Kirito, Asuna, Yui, and guests)

The program will be hosted by Asuna, commented by Kirito, navigated by Yui, and guest appearances by popular personalities.

(2) Introduction to the world setting of SAO by the original author, Reki KAWAHARA (narration by Sadacheng MATSUOKA)
The original author of "SAO" has written an introduction to the world setting of each series of "SAO" for the Kyoto venue, and Sadajo Matsuoka, who plays Kirito, will read it out loud!
From "Aincrad" to "Underworld," the reality of each world will be revealed for the first time!

The history of virtual worlds is reviewed with Seijiro Kikuoka, an official of the Virtual Space Management Division in the Communications Network of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, who organized the EX-CHRONICLE.
