Two TV commercials for PS4 "Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness" will air from January 11! A Twitter campaign to commemorate the airing of the commercials will also be held.

Yakuza7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness" ("Yakuza7") for PS4 is set for release on January 16, 2020 (Thursday). Sega Games announced that a TV commercial for this title will be aired in some regions from January 11 (Saturday).

The first title in the "Yakuza" series was created in 2005 based on the concept of "entertainment for adults. The series has gained popularity due to its storyline, which is so profound that it is almost like watching a TV drama, and its challenging elements that allow players to freely explore the town where the game takes place. More than 10 games, including spin-offs, have been produced in the series, but in "Yakuza 7," the main character has been replaced by Kasuga Ichiban from Kiryu Kazuma. In addition to the well-known "Kamurocho" in the past series, "Isesagi Ijinko" in Yokohama will newly appear. In addition, many new attempts have been made, such as changing the battle system from an action to a command-based RPG.

Two commercials are scheduled to air: "The Latest Yakuza" (15-second and 30-second versions) and "Yakuza Goes RPG" (30-second version). In the "Yakuza" Latest Arc, you can see a part of the drama woven by Kasuga Ichiban, Arakawa Masumi (played by Nakai Kiichi), and other main characters, and in the "Yakuza" Goes RPG Arc, you can see familiar characters from the series, such as Kiryu Kazuma and Majima Goro.

In addition, a Twitter campaign to celebrate the airing of the commercial is being held from today. One lucky winner will receive a signed copy of "Yakuza" to RPG Arc," autographed by the cast members who appear in the commercial. For details, please check the following.
