New characters from the second part of "Honkaku no Gekkokujo: I Can't Choose the Means to Become a Librarian" are revealed! Cast comments also arrived!

The TV anime "Book Lover's Dishonor: You Can't Choose Your Means to Become a Librarian" aired from October to December 2019. Its second part will air in spring 2020, and the new characters and cast for the second part have been announced.

The second part of the series will air in the spring of 2020, and new characters and cast members have been announced for the second part. Mitsuru Hongo is the director, Yoshiki Kawasaki is the assistant director, Mariko Kunisawa is the series composition, Yoshiaki Yanagida and Toshihisa Kaiya are the character designers, and Ajido is in charge of animation production.

Gil (CV. Yufuko Sanpei)

A gray priestess apprentice who was called up from an orphanage to serve at Mine's side. She has a bad behavior and has been sent to the "reflection room" several times. He thought that he would be given the blessings of God (food) if he became a member of the family, but when Mine entered the temple on the condition that he commute from the downtown area, a dispute ensued. This leads to an encounter with Mein's philosophy, "You must not eat what you do not work for. She is a bit foul-mouthed and quarrelsome, but at heart she is an honest and companionable person.

Gil is by nature a very straightforward and easy-to-understand child. So, I took his resentment straight to Mine. I think he is a very unimpressive character from Main's point of view at first. However, as the story progresses, I enjoyed playing him as a character who also becomes an opportunity to learn new common sense and aspects of the world.

Fran (CV. Sho Kano)

A modest and thoughtful gray priestess who serves as Mine's first aide-de-camp. He was the chief priest's first aide before serving Mine, and is deeply in love with the chief priest. Because of this, he is at first closed-minded toward Mein. Under the guidance of Lutz, he takes care of Mine's physical condition at the temple. Like the chief priest, he is at the mercy of Mine's words and actions, but he is surprised and impressed by Mine's flexible thinking that is not bound by the common sense of the temple.

Comment from Sho Kano

My name is Sho Kano, and I will be playing the role of Fran! Just by looking at each other in the eye, I can sense everything... I am a super servant with an itch that can be scratched! He doesn't show his emotions that much, but as he gets involved with Mine, Fran changes little by little, which was a lot of fun to play! Delia (CV: Chiyo Tomaru)

She is an apprentice gray priestess in Mine's service. She is told to pass on information about Mine to the head of the temple. Because of her upbringing in the special environment of the temple, she believes that the best way to live is to be beholden to those in power. Therefore, she believes that it is natural to use women as weapons, even if they are young. Her dream is to become the temple head's mistress. She often twirls her hair with her fingers.

I am pleased to announce that I will be voicing Delia. My name is Chiyo Tomaru. Delia is a child, but the gap between her appearance and her way of thinking makes her a very appealing character, and there will be many highlights in the second season, such as how she will interact with the characters from the first season and the unique setting of the other world! Synopsis:
Living in modern Japan, "Moto Su Reno" has longed for a job. She dies on the same day she gets a job at a library, which she had longed for. She still had such unfulfilled longings to read more books, and when she came to, she regained consciousness with her body as a young girl Mine in another world.
The story takes place in Ehrenfest, an otherworldly, medieval-like city ruled by nobles with magical powers. In the midst of the strict status system, Mine, a young girl with knowledge of modern Japan, struggles to obtain a book.
