Planetarian: Yukizankyu" OVA Adaptation Project Crowdfunding Reaches 50 Million Yen! All supporters will receive a present!

To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the birth of "planetarian" on November 29, 2004, a 15th anniversary crowdfunding campaign is currently underway, aiming at the visualization of "Snow Globe," one of the novels in the "planetarian" series, In addition, a gift will be given to all supporters.

Planetarian" is a digital novel released in 2004 by Key/Visual Arts, known for "Kanon," "AIR," and "CLANNAD. Set in a near-future city devastated by a world war, the work depicts the interaction between a man who wanders into a planetarium and a girl-like robot named Yumemi Hoshino who has been waiting for customers there for 30 years. The work continues to be loved by people.
The 15th anniversary crowdfunding campaign to visualize "Snow Globe," a novel outside of "planetarian," began on November 29, 2019. Since its launch, the project has been receiving enthusiastic support from many fans and reached its goal of 30 million yen at 7:03 p.m. on December 1, just two days after its launch. Production of "planetarian: Snow Globe" OVA was decided.

On December 1, the project reached its goal of 30 million yen, and on January 9, 2020, it was announced that the total amount of support had reached 50 million yen.
To commemorate the achievement of 167% of the original goal, a "Yumemi's special constellation card" will be given to all supporters.

In addition, as a stretch goal of 60 million yen, the production of a celebratory song has been decided. This song will be included in the "Theme Song & Soundtrack CD" to be returned.

With only about two weeks remaining until the end of the campaign, it will be interesting to see how far the support will go.
