The open beta test of "Legend of Runeterra," a completely new card game from "LoL" developer Raiatto Games, will be held on January 24! Only the PC version is eligible this time.

Raiatto Games announced that an open beta test for the PC version of "Legend of Runeterra" (LoR), a PC/smartphone game scheduled to be launched by the end of 2020, will begin at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2012. The test will be open to all players from 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25.

LoR" is a completely new title from Riatt Games, the creators of "League of Legends" (LoL), the world's leading strategy game with over 100 million players. It is a one-on-one card game featuring "deep strategy," "a high degree of freedom in how to obtain cards," and "diversity of the meta," and basic play is free. The game is said to allow players to enjoy fair matches, with no charged elements directly affecting the outcome of the game.

In this open beta test, features such as friend matches and ranked matches will be available. As a bonus, all participants will receive the in-game item "Mero Mero Polo Guardian" upon the release of the full version of this game. Incidentally, accounts will not be reset during the period, so it seems that everything acquired during the open beta test can be carried over after the official service begins.
