An event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the "Monster Hunter" series will be held at the "Asobuilding" in Yokohama! Plenty to see and do, including an area full of 4D effects and an exhibition space!

DNP, Capcom, and NAKED announced that "DNP Produce MONSTER HUNTER × NAKED 'Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Exhibition' - THE QUEST -" ("THE QUEST"), an event celebrating the 15th anniversary of the "Monster Hunter" series, will be held at Yokohama Station The exhibition will be held at the " Aso Building, " an entertainment complex directly connected to the Minami East Exit of Yokohama Station. The exhibition will be held from February 4 (Tuesday) to March 1 (Sunday), 2020. Advance tickets are now on sale.

THE QUEST is a limited-time experiential event, the first of which was held in Akihabara in October 2019. This year's event will feature two areas. The first is the "Experience Area," which uses projection mapping and video to recreate the fields from the "Monster Hunter" series that were popular in the first event, and the second is the "Exhibition Area," which displays materials related to the 15-year history of "Monster Hunter.


The "Experience Area" reproduces a "forest," "desert," "ocean," "volcano," and "snowy mountain. The 4D effects of temperature, wind, scent, smoke, and other elements are used to draw participants into the world of hunting. In addition, there will be videos of large monsters filmed especially for this event, as well as content that will allow visitors to search for traces of monsters left behind in various areas of the venue. In the exhibition area, hunter equipment from past titles will be on display, as well as setting materials for "forbidden monsters," including the " Black Dragon Miraboreas," which is one of the most mysterious in the series.

In the "Experience Area," five fields will be recreated to draw participants into the world of the game: "Forest," "Desert," "Sea," "Volcano," and "Snowy Mountains. In order to create a sense of immersion, visitors can enjoy a "powerful 4D experience" that is unique to this event, such as "smell and sound expressions" that stimulate their sense of smell and hearing, and "temperature," "snowstorm," "wind," "smoke," "scent," and "vibration" that match the visual presentation.

Large monsters that have appeared in past works will be brought up close to visitors through the use of video technology! All images are completely new for the 15th anniversary exhibition. Not only will you be able to see them up close, but the monsters will be presented in a variety of techniques to create an immersive experience that will make you feel as if you have entered the field of the game. The audience will be able to enjoy the dynamic and detailed movements of the monsters, which can only be seen at the event.

The "Trace Hunting" experience will make you feel like a hunter!


The popular "Trace Hunting" of the large monsters from last year's event will be available again this year! By shining black lights distributed at the venue on the walls and floors, visitors will feel like a hunter as they search for the traces of various monsters.

Interactive contents that allow visitors to experience Monster Hunter through touch and feel


In the "experience area," "recovery insects" that restore hunters' strength will appear along the way, recreating the experience of the game. When the hunters touch the image of the "recovery honeybee," honey in their bellies pops out in an interaction effect.

360° projection mapping to immerse visitors in the world


The 360° projection mapping and surround sound will switch between desert, ocean, and volcanic fields, creating an immersive experience that can only be experienced here. Monsters fighting for territory up close and personal, and a ragiacrus swimming around in the water are a powerful sight to behold.

A display area of hunter equipment and receptionist costumes that give visitors a sense of the history of the series.


Major hunter equipment from previous titles, such as the "Lagia Series" and "Jin'ou Series," are on display. Visitors can feel the history of the series as well as hunter equipment. In addition, a receptionist costume will be added to the exhibit at this year's Yokohama event.

This is a special exhibit that looks back on the history of the many appetizing hunter meals that have appeared in the "Monster Hunter" series. Hunter's Meals from "Monster Hunter: World" are also on display.

A project to enjoy looking at the forbidden monster materials, weapon chronology, and more.


For the first time, the "Black Dragon Miraboreas" and other "Forbidden Monsters," which have been shrouded in mystery for 15 years since the series' release, will be unveiled for the first time. The "Evil Eye of the Black Dragon," which can be obtained by defeating the Black Dragon, is also on display. A chronological table of the various weapons that have appeared in the series over the years is also on display as "The History of Weapons. The number of weapons recorded on the wall is breathtaking. Visitors can look at the timeline and reminisce about the history of hunting with their friends.
