Recreate Mikoto Misaka's scene! From the smartphone RPG "Toaru Majutsu no Index: Genesis Convergence," a hands-on event to "kick vending machines" will be held at Shinjuku Station.

Square Enix Co., Ltd. will hold a special event for the smartphone app "Toaru Majutsu no Index: Imaginary Convergence (Imaginary Fest)" from January 20 to 26, 2020, in which visitors will be able to "kick vending machines.

Toaru Majutsu no Index: Imaginary Convergence" is a school battle RPG based on the "Toaru" series, including "Index: A Certain Magical Index".

The special event to be held this time is an interactive project that realistically recreates the scene in the park where the heroine, Misaka Mikoto, kicks a vending machine.


Kick the vending machine, "A Certain Dengeki Hime no Kick Jihanki (Kick Vending Machine)," which will be installed in the Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade of the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, and you will hear a blitz sound and get an original sticker for sure. There is also a lucky chance to watch a special animation performance and receive a large number of stickers.

In addition, "#Toaru Kick Vending Machine" mini-game content that can be enjoyed on smartphones has been released on the campaign website. The game is played by tapping the kick button displayed on the smartphone screen in a rhythmical manner and aiming for a high score based on the number of drink cans available.


The site offers a mission, and if you complete the mission, you can download exclusive wallpaper content. In addition, if you tweet the results of the mini-game play, a complete set of 12 original stickers will be given away to 100 winners in a drawing. Check the campaign site for details.
