The film has a strong focus on music, with many songs provided by foreign artists, and all songs in the film and the theme song are sung in foreign languages. The theme song is sung by two artists, Nai Br.XX and Celeina Ann, who were selected through a worldwide audition, as Carol Tuesday's W cast.

At the "3rd LIVE - Mother" held this time, not only Nai Br.XX and Celeina Ann, who are vocalists of Carol & Tuesday, but also Alisa (vocalist of Angela), Lauren Dyson (vocalist of Crystal), J R Price (vocalist of Piotr), and Maika Loubté (vocalist of Sibert).

In addition, main cast members Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carol), Kana Ichinose (Tuesday), Sumire Uesaka (Angela), and Akio Otsuka (Gus) also appeared.

The live report has arrived, and is presented below.

Live Report

It was like a miracle. Yes, seven minutes of a miracle that was to be etched in the history of Mars. This is the story of two girls who were the driving force behind it.

First on stage were, of course, Nai Br.XX and Celeina Ann, the singer-voices of Carol & Tuesday. First, they sang "Kiss Me," the opening theme for the first school year. The second song was "Beautiful Breakdown," a fast-paced pop number. The bright vocals of the two made the atmosphere of the venue even more gorgeous.

Serena was the main MC for this live performance. During the first MC session, the two briefly introduced themselves, and Serena translated Nai's English. Then they immediately went on to the third song, "Army of Two. The fourth song, "Day By Day," featured an interlude during which the band members were introduced and the guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and drummer each performed a solo, just as in the previous show.

At this point, the lights went down and Miyuri Shimabukuro (playing Carol) and Kana Ichinose (playing Tuesday) appeared offstage and were pin-spotted. The two performed a reading play. The backstage interaction between Carol & Tuesday as they prepare for their first live performance at the Mars Lounge (episode 5) was performed as if it were a live recording. After the reading play, Nye and Serena perform "Someday I'll Find My Way Home," the song Carol & Tuesday sang at that time. The concept of this live performance was to loosely recreate the story of all 24 episodes on stage, linking the songs and the read-aloud performance in this way.

In addition to Shimabukuro and Ichinose, Akio Otsuka, who played Gus, appeared for the second reading. Carol & Tuesday performed a new scene from episode 6, in which they took the stage at the 100,000-person Sidonia festival as understudies for a famous artist. Nye and Serena then performed "Round & Laundry," which the two boldly sang to 100,000 boos.

Next to take the stage was Alisa, Angela's singer voice. She started with "Move Mountains," the first song Angela sang in the play, followed by "All I Want," a coquettish pop number, and "Not Afraid," the ending theme song for the second cool season. She was always full of confidence in her performance.

For the third reading, Uesaka Sumire appeared as Angela. Angela's feelings as she faced the Mars Blythe test final (ep. 12), a one-on-one battle with Carol & Tuesday, were passionately expressed in her performance, "I set fire to the soul! and passionate performance. In response, Alisa emotionally sang "Light A Fire". Next up was Maika Loubté, the singer-voice of Sibert. She sang "La ballade" while seated in a chair, just like Sibert in the Mars Blytest, and stood up during the second chorus to express Sibert's decadent inner life through song and dance.

The fourth performer was Piotr's singer-voice, J R Price, and dancer TACCHI, who recreated Piotr, also a dance performer, on stage with feeling. Both "Dance Tonight" and "Love Yourself" were sung as Piotr sang them in the play. After Piotr's spectacular performance, it was time for Crystal's singer voice, Lauren Dyson, to take the stage. She sang "Unbreakable" with her long blonde hair, which is the very hair of the great female singer Crystal. She also covered the song "Give Your The World" by Flora, a famous singer from the past who appeared in episode 16.

When all the performers had finished their rounds, the second half of the live performance began. Alisa performed four songs, mostly from her second cool album. The performance expressed the ups and downs of Angela's mind, including "Endless," a song filled with sadness written by Alisa herself, and "LIGHTS GO OUT," which was a collaboration with Piotr in the play. The fourth reading of the play inserted here was the exchange between Carol & Tuesday and Angela before the live performance of the side-near-fest by Shimabukuro, Ichinose, and Uesaka (episode 19). Following a conversation in which they recognize each other as rivals, Nai and Serena appeared. They sang an acoustic number "Message in the Wind," which was performed at the Side Nia Fest, in a hushed manner.

For the fifth reading, Otsuka passionately performed the scene where Gus inspires Carol & Tuesday to attend the Mars Grammy awards show (episode 22). After the fire," a collaboration with Crystal, also featured Crystal's singer voice, Lauren Dyson, and the three of them sang together in breathtaking harmony. Beyond the sixth reading by all the voice actors, the live performance reached its climax. The moment finally came when "Mother," the song from "7 Minutes of Miracle," which was sung by artists from all over Mars in the last episode, was performed.

The performance of "Mother" by the six artists, including Sibert who did not participate in the story, was a masterpiece. The audience stood and clapped to the rhythm, and at the end of the song, gold confetti flew around the venue, just like in the anime. The singers naturally rubbed shoulders with each other when they finished singing. It was the same scene as in the anime.

The last song of the live performance was "Hold Me Now," the ending theme of the first season of the anime. The six singers sang the light pop song with smiles on their faces, bringing the two-and-a-half-hour live performance to a close. After the live performance, all the performers, including singers and voice actors, gave speeches about their current feelings. Uesaka Sumire's comment, "It was a miracle that it lasted less than three hours," summed up the live perfectly.
