A new stage production of "Sword Dance" will be performed in the summer of 2020.

Sword Ranbu-ONLINE" is a PC browser and smartphone app game that began service in 2015. In order to fight against "historical revisionists" who plan to alter history by interfering in the past, players, who are "saniwa" (goddesses of Shintoism), send their "sword boys," who are gods of mourning, to various eras. This work is not only a game, but also an anime, a movie, a stage play, and many other media, and boasts overwhelming popularity among women. Furthermore, when the project to restore theJapanese swordHotarumaruwas launched, it was funded through crowdfunding and achieved 45 million yen, 820% more than the project's original goal of 5.5 million yen.

It has now been announced that a new stage production of "Sword Dance" will be staged in the summer of 2020.

The play will be written and directed by Kenichi Suemitsu, and Takuma Wada, who will play the role of Kanesada Utasen, has been announced as the cast member, and a video has also been uploaded.

The first edition of "Koreiden Oboro no Shishi-tachi" Blu-ray & DVD will include a lottery ticket for advance reservation, and the first advance reservation for tickets will be held for paying members of the "Toushutei Fan Site".
