TV anime "My Hero Academia" unveils the key visual and PV for the new chapter "Cultural Festival Arc" which will start from the January 25 (Sat) broadcast episode!

From "My Hero Academia," which is currently airing its fourth TV anime season, a new key visual and PV have been released for the new chapter "Cultural Festival Arc," which will start from the January 25, 2020 (Saturday) broadcast episode.

My Hero Academia" ("Hero Academia"), an anime based on a popular manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), is a Jump royalty action anime based on a very popular manga series by Kohei Horikoshi, which has sold over 25 million copies in total. The story takes place in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural abilities called "personalities" and "heroes" have been established as a profession to protect society and people by making full use of their "personalities. The story depicts the main character, a boy named Deku Midoriya, a.k.a. "Deku," as he grows up with his friends at Yuuei High School, a prestigious school that produces heroes, in pursuit of his dream of becoming the best hero, and his battle against "villains," enemies that threaten society. The fourth season of the TV anime is currently airing, and the latest film version, "My Hero Academia: The Movie Heroes: Rising," was released on December 20, 2019 (Friday).

The fourth season of the TV anime is currently airing, and the "Cultural Festival Arc" key visual and PV have been released in preparation for the new chapter, "Cultural Festival Arc," which will start from the January 25, 2020 (Saturday) broadcast episode.

The key visual, newly drawn by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, a character designer of the anime Hiroaka, depicts 20 students of Yuuei High School Hero Department Class 1A wearing matching T-shirts, along with Milio Dori and Eri. The visuals are reminiscent of the cover illustration of the 19th volume of the original comic book.


The PV is composed of scenes from the upcoming episodes, focusing on the Class 1A students who are excited for the cultural festival. In addition, the soundtrack of the new opening theme "Starmarker" by rock band KANA-BOON has been released for the first time in this PV.
This is the first song by KANA-BOON, which has made a new start in its new organization, and the PV is noteworthy not only for Hiroaka fans.

The atmosphere of the "Cultural Festival Arc" is completely different from that of the "Hero Intern Arc" in the first half of the fourth season, and the lively episodes in the "Cultural Festival Arc" will be the focus of attention.

<Story

In a world where people with supernatural "personalities" are the norm. When he meets the No. 1 hero All Might, whom he admires, the "impersonal" boy Deku Midoriya, a.k.a. During his internship, Deku learns of a terrifying plan by Overhaul, the young leader of the designated "villain" group Shitsuke Yasai-kai, to use a young girl, Eri, as a weapon. In order to rescue Eri, Deku forms a hero team with Milio Michigata and the other three heroes from Yuuei, as well as his classmates Ochako, Kirishima, and Umezure-chan, and raids the headquarters of the Deadly Stain Hachisai-kai. After a deadly battle, they defeated Overhaul and saved Necri. At great cost.
The season of autumn arrived, and Deku returned to his normal school life after completing his internship. On the other hand, Nuri was rescued, but still could not smile. Deku vows to make Nuri smile at the upcoming Yuuei Cultural Festival! However, a disturbing shadow looms over them..!
