Part 2 distribution begins today! Watch out for the new series of "Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac" featuring the Golden Saint!

Season 2 of "Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac," a new 3DCG work set in the modern era, began distribution on Netflix on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Based on Masami Kurumada's comic series that began in 1985, "Saint Seiya" is a very popular series that has created many fans not only in Japan but also in South America, Europe, and other countries around the world.


Part 1 depicts Seiya awakening as a Saint and moving forward into the days of battle, building friendships through battles with saints such as Dragon Shiryu, Kignas Glacier, and Andromeda Shun, while also depicting his challenges to powerful enemies such as Glade and the Dark Saints, as well as the intentions of the Holy Realm. At the end of Part 1, a fierce battle with the strongest bronze saint, Phoenix Ikki, unfolded, bringing the story to a close with a sense of new battles to come.

Season 2, which will be distributed from January 23, depicts what happens to Seiya and his friends after they are hit by a falling rock from a volcanic eruption immediately after their battle with Ikki, and the Golden Saint, who reigns at the top of the Saint League, finally makes his move.

In the newly released new video of Part 2, battle scenes of Seiya and the other Bronze Saints against powerful enemies far beyond anything seen in the past have been shown.
The new video shows Seiya and the other Bronze Saints battling against a foe that is far more powerful than any they have faced before. Seiya, covered in wounds, unleashes the Pegasus Meteor Fist at the end. Will Seiya be able to protect Athena? Seiya and his team's gripping battle begins once again!
