The movie will be released in theaters on August 30 (Fri.)! Red Legend," the jacket photos of the theme song "1mm Symphony" sung by Machico and the ending theme song "My Home Town" sung by Aqua, Megumi and Daknes have been released.

The jackets feature illustrations drawn for the CDs.
The first pressing of "1mm Symphony" features a photo of Machico wearing an outfit with the colors of the "Konosuba" character, which was first seen in the recently released music video.


The first limited disc of "1mm Symphony -Ma-chill ver." features Machico dressed in the colors of "Konosuba" characters, which was first shown in the recently released music video. The event will be held on August 24th (Sat.) to celebrate the release of the album.

In addition, an interview with Humbert Humbert, who is providing the ending theme song for the current work, following on from the TV anime series, has also been released. The interview also includes an episode when they decided to provide a song for "Kono-suba" and a story about the production of "My Home Town".

■Interview with Humbert Humbert is now available!

--How did you come to talk about producing the ED theme for the TV anime "Konosuba"?
Youho: It started with Mr. Anai (*Nippon Columbia Music Producer), right?
Yoshinari: He contacted me at the e-mail address listed on the official website. He said, "My name is Anai from Nippon Columbia.

--Why did you accept the job?
Yuho: I had never sung an anime theme song before, and anime is very popular now, so I thought, "Let's get with the times! I thought, "Let's get with the times! You know?
Yoshinari You are just saying that, aren't you (laughs). Yes, I received a polite e-mail from Mr. Anai, so I thought it must be a proper job. I don't get to do new things on my own very often anymore, so I thought I would like to give it a try if I had the chance.

--I thought that if I had the chance, I would like to give it a try.
Yoshinari That's right. And it seems that he listens to Humbert Humbert's music a lot.

--How did you feel when you actually wrote the songs?
Yoshinari: I had never written an anime song before, so I didn't know the rules of anime, but when I was approached, I was told that I wanted to bring the usual Humbert Humbert taste directly to the ending of the anime. It wasn't like we were suddenly doing something we had never done before, and I thought we could do it.

--How did you feel when you heard the song actually played at the end of the slapstick work in the first and second seasons of the anime?
Yuho: It was refreshing. I have not provided music for many productions, so I was surprised to see how it would turn out! I thought, "This is how it's going to be!" And it was a lot of fun, because the song was animated to match the world of the lyrics, which is something that is not often done visually. And then there is the nostalgic song at the end of the jovial piece. I thought it was well calculated, like a quiet way to end the day. I see what you mean.
