A new era is dawning! A new story of "Bakumatsu Rock" "Bakumatsu Rock Hollow Soul" has started!

It was announced that "Bakumatsu Rock: Hollow Soul," a sequel to the "Bakumatsu Rock" series, which has been widely developed as a game, anime, and stage show, is about to begin.

This adventure game was released by Marvelous AQL (now Marvelous Inc.) for the PSP on February 27, 2014. Set at the end of the Edo period, the game tells the story of samurai (rockers) such as Ryoma Sakamoto, Shinsaku Takasugi, and Kogoro Katsura, who fight the Shinsengumi, the "top idols" of the shogunate, through songs.

The sequel to the "Bakumatsu Rock" series, "Bakumatsu Rock: Hollow Soul," has been announced.

The story will take place five years after Ryoma and his friends' successes in the Taisei Hokan era.

In conjunction with this announcement, visuals and character introductions newly designed by character designer Kimihiko Fujisaka have been released.

It was also announced that the comic serialization will start on January 26, 2020 (Sun.) at noon on Comic Polka, so be sure to check it out as well.

After the TAISEI-HOKAN and the war against Jr. ended, and a parliamentary system was introduced, a new world was about to be created in which the lords would rule Japan by "seiji" (voice rule) rather than by armed conflict.
However, a dark cloud once again looms over Edo.
Above Edo Castle, a city shrouded in black fog, Heian-kyo, appears.
The long-awaited sequel to "Bakumatsu Rock" has arrived!
