GUILTY GEAR" fighting game series, a new title will be produced! The release date is 2020!

Arc System Works, Inc. has announced that it has decided to produce a new title in the "GUILTY GEAR" 2D fighting game series, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018.

The "GUILTY GEAR" series is a 2D fighting game that boasts a unique worldview that fuses science fiction and fantasy, unique characters, melodious metal and hard rock sounds, and a speedy and tense game system that is very popular in Japan and abroad.

It was announced that a new title in the "GUILTY GEAR" series will be produced.

This title will be the first completely new title since "GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN-" released in 2014, and Taisuke Ishiwata will continue to serve as general director for the production. Expectations are high for further evolution of the cell-look 3D that Arc System Works is known for!

A teaser site for the new GUILTY GEAR series title was released today, and on the site, in addition to title information, you can check out the teaser trailer that was presented at The Evolution Championship Series 2019 on Sunday, August 4, North American time.
