The members of MONKEY MAJIK will provide the voice for the transformation belt of "Masked Rider Zero One," the first rider to be broadcast in 2025 on September 1!

Maynard (Vo&G) and Blaze (Vo&G) of the Miyagi Prefecture-based rock band MONKEY MAJIK will be in charge of the transformation sound for "Masked Rider Zero One," which will air from September 1, 2019.

The theme of "Masked Rider Zero One," the first masked rider in the 2021 series, is AI (artificial intelligence). The AI company of which the main character is the president is hacked by cyber-terrorists, and the AI robot developed by the company goes berserk. The hero transforms into Masked Rider Zero One and challenges the battle over artificial intelligence technology.

Masked Rider Zero One uses the transformation belt "Hiden Zero One Driver" to complete the transformation, and Maynard and Blaze have been chosen to voice the character.

The two actors, who also acted last year, are very enthusiastic about this new challenge and said, "We are very honored to be involved in the eternal hero of children and the first Masked Rider in 2025. When I received the offer, my two Japanese band members, TAX (Drums) and DICK (Bass), encouraged me to take on the project with great enthusiasm! All four of us are Rider fans. We're all four Rider fans, and we're always looking forward to going to the studio to work with the great team and the transforming sounds they create." I always look forward to going to the site.

As the group prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, one cannot take one's eyes off their multifaceted activities.

Masked Rider Zero One" will be broadcast on TV Asahi from 9:00 a.m. on Sundays starting September 1.
