Taito's "Touhou Spell Bubble," a completely new sound game that can be played with popular songs from "Touhou Project," will be released for the Switch in February 2020!

TAITO will release "Touhou Spell Bubble," a completely new rhythmical puzzle game that can be played with popular arrangements of songs from the doujin bullet-shooting game "Touhou Project," as a download-only software for Nintendo Switch in February 2020.


This is a completely new rhythmical puzzle game based on "Touhou Project" that combines easy-to-use bubble-shooting puzzles with rhythm game elements. The game is based on "Touhou Project," and features easy-to-control bubble-shooting puzzles as well as rhythm game elements.

The game will also feature many new songs as well as popular tunes by IOSYS, Ghost Satellite, and other well-known Touhou arrangement artists. Taito sound team ZUNTATA will also participate with in-game BGM and arranged music. In addition, a number of well-known illustrators will participate in character illustrations, including Choko Fuji, who was in charge of the key visuals. Popular voice actors will provide the voices for the unique Touhou characters in the game.

Shoot colored balls and connect three or more of the same color to erase them.

If you connect and erase a large number of colored balls at once, you will enter a "beat attack part" in which you must press the buttons at the right time to the rhythm of the song.

By erasing colored balls and successfully completing the "beat 'em up" part, you can send many gray "obstacle balls" to interfere with your opponent's puzzles.

After a certain amount of time, "Spell Cards" can be activated, which can be used to advance the game. Yumu Konpaku's spell card "Ni Hyaku Yushun no Isshin" can cut off colored balls in the fifth line from the top or lower.

There is also a story mode that allows you to play carefully alone.
