The movie version of "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," which will be released on Friday, August 9, 2019, and TVstation collaboration special issue will be on sale.

The popular comic "ONE PIECE" has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for 21 years. The comics hold the Guinness World Record as the "Most Published Comic Series by a Single Artist," with more than 440 million copies in circulation worldwide (as of July 2018). Its popularity is not limited to Japan, but transcends national borders, attracting support from a wide range of people. The TV anime began broadcasting in 1999, and the first film version was released in 2000. So far, 13 film versions have been released and the total box-office revenue of the series has reached 30 billion yen, which has excited a large number of fans.
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the anime broadcast, "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," the first theatrical version in three years, will be released on August 9, 2019 (Friday).

This time, a special TVstation collaboration issue with the theatrical version of "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE," which will be released on August 9, 2019 (Friday), will be on sale.

For the second time in TVstation's 33-year publishing history, the anime collaboration cover will feature Monkey D. Luffy wearing the costumes of the theatrical version of "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE."

This announcement is a special collaboration between "ONE PIECE STAMPEDE" the movie version and TVstation in the special TVstation issue to be released on Wednesday, August 7.
On the cover is an illustration of Monkey D. Luffy in his movie costume, popping cheerfully out of the hat of TVstation's character, Dr. Luffy, as well as an adorable Chopper walking alongside Lancelot (a tin can doll).
Of course, the illustrations are newly drawn by Shigeru Tamura, who has been drawing TVstation's covers for 31 years.

This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the publication, and this is the second anime collaboration cover in TVstation's history. (The first was "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin.)

In addition to the cover, the inside of the magazine is of course a full feature article!
In addition to a long interview with Mayumi Tanaka, who plays Luffy, and an interview with Yusuke Santamaria, the guest voice actor for this work, there is also an easy-to-understand plan for beginners to look back on the 20th anniversary of the "ONE PIECE" anime broadcast and even a sneak peek into the weekly "Shonen Jump" editorial department! The film will be released on August 9 (Fri.).

<STORY

The world's largest festival of pirates, by pirates, for pirates. Luffy and his crew receive an invitation from Buena Festa, the organizer of the Expo, called "Matsuriya. When they arrive at the venue, they find that the pavilions are filled with pirates, including those of the worst generation, and the place is filled with excitement.
The centerpiece of the Expo is a "treasure hunt left by the Pirate King (Roger). The pirates who wanted to make a name for themselves by acquiring the treasure started a battle for the treasure! However, behind the pirates' feverish excitement at the Expo, Festa, a.k.a. "the worst war-monger," has been waging a deadly campaign, and even the Navy has begun to move in to round up the pirates...
As the battle for the treasure that will determine the supremacy of the age reaches a fever pitch, Douglas Barrett, a man formerly known as "the heir of the devil" to the Roger Pirates, suddenly intervenes. He stands in front of Luffy and his crew as a terrifying threat!
The pirates are in a frenzy, and the Navy, the Royal Shichibukai, and the Revolutionary Guard are all involved. An unprecedented battle ensues, involving friend and foe alike. The battle for treasure and the Pirate Expo descend into unpredictable chaos!
