New smartphone game "Zenon Zard", official service start date is set for September 10 (Tuesday)!

Bandai Card Division announced that the official release date for the digital card game "Zenonzard" for smartphones has been set for Tuesday, September 10, 2019. In conjunction with this, pre-registration on various app stores has begun.

XenonZard" is the first title of "AI CARDDASS," a new brand of digital card game utilizing AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology developed by HEROZ. It is a new-generation digital card game for smartphones, equipped with an AI specialized for "trading card game" competitions, and offers not only patterned CPU and human competitions as in conventional card games, but also the new fun of "AI training", "human-AI competition", and "human-AI co-op" through play. Celebrating more than 300,000 pre-registered users! Additional "Architect AI" to be implemented

In the closed beta test conducted from April to May 2019, 99% of the approximately 20,000 participants answered that they would like to play when the official service starts. The number of pre-registered users exceeded 300,000 as of the end of July. (Survey results: #)

In commemoration of the 300,000th participant, a new character "Architect AI" will be added to the "Codeman" AI, a buddy who supports and grows with the player in the game.
With the addition of this "Architect AI," the total number of buddy AI "Codeman" appearing in the game is now 16. The addition of the "Architect AI" brings the total number of "Codeman" in the game to 16, and the splendid voice actors who bring each character to life are sure to be a highlight.

<Story
The year is 20XX--people are excited about "The Xenon", a world tournament of "Xenonzad".
One day, an ordinary high school student, Azuma Souta, is challenged by a mysterious woman, Irietta Rush, to compete in the "Zenonzard" tournament. She calls herself "Codeman," an ultra-high-performance AI, and her goal is to team up with Souta and compete in "The Xenon.

A comic version of "Zenonzad", a prequel to "Buddy AI", is also being serialized.

The comic version of "Zenon Zard" is now being serialized on Comic Walker (WEB Dempre Comic) and Nico Nico Seiga. The manga is a prequel to the main storyline in which Buddy AI and Codemen join "The Zenon" in the game, and is drawn in a relay format by several manga artists.
