Tsuburaya Productions begins production of an original live-action PV for the "ULTRAMAN" anime. Ryohei Kimura & Takuya Eguchi appear in the film!

Tsuburaya Productions Inc. announced that it has begun production of an original live-action short PV for the "ULTRAMAN" anime.

ULTRAMAN" is an anime work based on the manga series by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi in the monthly magazine "Heroes" (Heroes, Shogakukan Creative). It is currently distributed exclusively on Netflix and will be broadcast on TOKYOMX and BS11 from April 2020.

The live-action PV to be produced this time features Ryohei Kimura, who played the role of Shinjiro Hayata (ULTRAMAN), the main character of the anime "ULTRAMAN," and Takuya Eguchi, who played the role of Dan Moroboshi (SEVEN). They will appear wearing the "ULTRAMANSUIT" and "ULTRAMANSUIT ver. 7" created by Tsuburaya Productions' sculpting division, LSS.

In addition, as a measure to boost the production of this PV together with fans, a support project on "Makuake," a "support purchase service for atarashii things and experiences," will be implemented from today, January 27, 2020, to March 30, 2020.



The benefits for those who support the production of the PV include: "Name in the special video/special Blu-ray package and end credits," "Invitation to VIP seats at the ULTRAMAN special anime event," and "Special SSSP dog tag with your name engraved on it. A new theme song for the terrestrial version has been decided!

In addition, the new theme song for the terrestrial version of the "ULTRAMAN" anime will be "Core Fade" by the music unit "OLDCODEX," which is also in charge of the theme song for the Netflix distribution version.

I will continue to sing the theme song from the Netflix version. I focused on "the reason why they fight" in the previous version, but this time, I started to create the song with the image of "the destination of their fight" in mind. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
