Wonder Festival 2019 [Summer], one of the world's largest figurative arts festivals, was held on July 28, 2019 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. In this issue, we present photos of cosplayers we saw at the event.

Despite fears of an approaching typhoon over the weekend, the weather cleared up around 11:00 a.m. when the cosplayers began to appear in the plaza, making it a very summery onefest. There were slightly fewer cosplayers than in previous years, and there were long lines of people waiting to take photos here and there.

This summer, "Fate," centering on "FGO," remained overwhelmingly popular. Did you often see Tamamo in swimsuits, race queens, and many other summery variations?

And speaking of Onefest, another feature of the festival is the gathering of doll head cosplayers. Recently, the evolution of the sense of expression in doll head cosplay has been remarkable, and I was surprised by the elegance of Miss Yugiri ("Zombieland Saga"), who passed by the photo line looking up with a fan (so I was allowed to photograph her).
