Don't mess with the Image Kenkyujo! is a series of manga by Daidou Sumi, serialized in Shogakukan's "Gekkan! Spirits", which is serialized in Shogakukan's "Monthly! It is directed by Masaaki Yuasa, known for his unique style in works such as "DEVILMAN crybaby" and "Kimi to, Nami no Norareta", and will be broadcast on NHK General TV from January 2020. Character design is by Naoyuki Asano of "Osomatsu-san" fame, and animation production will be handled by Science SARU, which has produced many of Yuasa's works.
