Ayane Sakura talks about the future of Shinkansen! Event report for "Summer Shinkarion Thanksgiving 2019" arrives!

The TV anime "Shinkansen Transformable Robot Shinkarion" fan event "Super Evolution Institute presents! Summer Shinkarion Thanks Festival 2019" was held on August 11. Here is the official report of the event.


Shinkansen Transformable Robot Shinkarion" is a TV anime that has been broadcast on 28 TBS stations nationwide since January 2018. The movie version "Shinkansen Deformable Robo Shinkarion: Kamispeed ALFA-X from the Future" is scheduled to be released in December 2019.


On August 11, the film's fan event "Shinkarion Summer Shinkarion Appreciation Festival 2019! Summer Shinkarion Thanks Festival 2019" was held at Aeon Cinema Theatasu Chofu in Tokyo.

The event featured Ayane Sakura as the main character Hayato Hayasugi, Aimi Numakura as Akita Oga, Rie Murakawa as Tsuranuki Daimonzan, Kei Mado as Seiryu, Takahiro Ikezoe as the general director, and Hiroki Itai as the director. Maxwell Powers, who plays Gembu, also served as MC.

Despite being in the middle of the Obon holiday season, the event was packed to capacity. The first event was a question-and-answer session in which participants answered questions that had been solicited in advance via the official Twitter feed! Director Ikezoe also shared a little behind-the-scenes information, saying, "The desk in the control room of the Super Evolution Laboratory in the final episode is shaped like Doctor Yellow!
When the theme song "Evolutionary Theory" started to play during the scene where Hayato, Akita, Tsuranuki and the others chase after the Black Shinkarion Ogre, the audience united in a chorus of "Gan Gun Zudan Dan Dan ♪". When "Evolutionary Theory" was played again at the end, Ms. Sakura and other cast members sang along, as if responding to the fans.


In addition, during the event, new information about the movie version of "Shinkansen Transformers Shinkarion: Kamispeed ALFA-X from the Future" was released! <It was announced that the movie will be set in Hokkaido, and images of the winter version of Hayato and his friends in their casual clothes, as well as footage of the Hokkaido location scouting that was conducted for the production of the movie, were specially shown to the audience.
Director Ikezoe, who will once again direct the movie version, said, "With special permission, we walked through the tunnel where the Shinkansen bullet train goes through and discussed where we should make the characters appear in the movie.
