The open beta test for the browser version of Dragon Quest X Online began today, February 5!

Square Enix announced today that it will hold an open beta test of the browser version of " Dragon Quest X Online " starting today, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, allowing anyone to play this game for free.

Dragon Quest X Online" is the first online-only game in the "DQ" series, launched in August 2012, with an additional package, "Dragon Quest X: The Priestess of Thorns and the God of Perdition Online" to be released in October 2019. The game is still being updated vigorously.


The browser version of the game uses a cloud system in which servers take over the processing in the game. Furthermore, the game can be played on PCs and smartphones as long as you can open HTML5-compatible browsers such as Google Chorme and Safari. With comfortable processing speed, "Dragon Quest" can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.


To participate in the open beta test, a Square Enix account is required. After becoming a member, simply select "Play in browser version" at the top of the dedicated page.
