The Blu-ray containing the "'Space Battleship Yamato 2202' Concert 2019 Sono Toki Kimi To -Close to you tonight-" held in October 2019 will be released on Friday, March 27, 2020. To commemorate the event <"Space Battleship Yamato 2202" Concert 2019 Bluray Release Commemoration! Love Film Concert" was held at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo on February 3, and it was announced that the official title of the "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" compilation is "The Era of 'Space Battleship Yamato': Selection of the Year 2202 A.D.".

Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a remake of the classic "Farewell Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love," which was shown in theaters from February 2017 and aired on TV from October 2018 to March 2019 with 26 episodes.

The "'Space Battleship Yamato 2202' Concert 2019 Sono Toki Kimi To -Close to you tonight-" was a concert held under the theme of the music from the film. Musicians associated with Akira Miyagawa, who has composed music for the "Space Battleship Yamato" series, and singers including Koichi Yamadera and Ayaka Hirahara performed enthusiastically.
