Let's go hunting in Yokohama "Asso Building"! The "Monster Hunter" 15th anniversary event started today, February 4 (Tuesday)!

The "Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Exhibition - THE QUEST -," a limited-time experiential event commemorating the 15th anniversary of Monster Hunter, started today, February 4, 2020, at the Yokohama "Asso Building.

Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Exhibition - THE QUEST -" is a limited-time experiential event held to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Monster Hunter, which was held in Akihabara for 13 days from October to November 2019 and regrettably came to a close, returning today to Yokohama's "Asobuilding". The event is now back at Yokohama's "Asobuilding"!

The event is now back at Yokohama's "Asobuilding" with additional content for both "Monster Hunter" fans and non-fans of the popular "Monster Hunter" series.

In addition, a new element unique to the event will be the "Asobiru Yokocho" on the 1st floor and "MONOTORY" on the 3rd floor, where visitors can enjoy the event even more.

Akiba Research Institute has visited the preview for the media held the day before the event, and will introduce some of the events that will allow you to enjoy MonHun's 15th anniversary.

Experience and Exhibition Area

The "Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Exhibition - THE QUEST -" consists of two areas: the "Experience Area" and the "Exhibition Area. The features and highlights of each area are as follows.

The "Search for Traces," which was popular at the Akihabara venue, has been greatly enhanced!
The "Searching for Traces," in which visitors can enjoy finding traces of monsters by illuminating the inside of the "Experience Area" with black light, has returned with an increased power. The variety of monster traces has been greatly increased, and they are hidden in various places in the field.
Different titles are given according to the number of traces found in the field, so please tweet about your titles with your fellow hunters on SNS to commemorate your visit.

Experience Area

In the "Experience Area," Creative Company Naked will recreate five fields inspired by those in the "Monster Hunter" series: forest, desert, volcano, ocean, and snowy mountain, using a variety of techniques including artwork, video, and projection mapping.
Visitors will be able to enter the world of the game and experience the world of "Monster Hunter" by feeling the presence, presence, and power of monsters.

Monsters from the series, such as the recovery beetle, which bursts when touched, will appear throughout the field. At the far end of the field, visitors will be able to experience the appearance of large monsters through 4D effects such as surround sound, temperature, snowstorms, and scents.

Unfortunately, photography is prohibited in this area, so we are unable to show you photos of this area.
MonHun lovers and MonHun beginners alike are sure to be excited by this area, so we hope you will enjoy it.

Exhibition Area

The exhibition area for past signboard girls, receptionist costumes, and equipment from pasttitles.
Along with the addition of Assoville, an exhibition of signboard girls and receptionist costumes from past titles has also been added. The exhibit will include a look back at the history of the series as well as hunter equipment.

In the "Exhibition Area," in addition to the major hunter equipment that appeared in past titles and an exhibition that looks back on the history of many appetizing hunter meals, setting materials for "forbidden monsters," including the "Black Dragon Miraboreas," which has been a mystery for 15 years since the series was first released, are being unveiled for the first time. In addition, a timeline of the various weapons that have appeared in the series over the years is presented as "The History of Weapons. The number of weapons recorded on the wall is breathtaking. The timeline allows visitors to reminisce about the history of hunting with friends, and it is fun to search for favorite equipment from each series
.

You can even recreate a scene from a meat roast!

○Environmental creature display corner

Environmental organisms that appear in the game are displayed along with comparative charts of their sizes. In particular, the new exhibit, "Fungokorogashi," created in commemoration of the additional exhibition at the "sacred place of feces," "Asobuilding" (where the Feces Museum is currently being developed), is a must-see (must-sniff?) because even the smell is realistically reproduced! It is a must-see (must-sniff?)!

Linked Project with Assoville

Asso Building Collaboration Project (1)] Original Strap Handmade Experience
As part of the Monster Hunter 15th Anniversary Exhibition collaboration project, a service that allows visitors to create handmade small leather goods at MONOTORY (a handmade experience floor where daily "craftsmanship workshops" such as pottery, accessories, small leather goods, and candle making are held), which is permanently located on the 3rd floor, is being developed. In addition, visitors who show their exhibition admission ticket during the handmade workshops will receive an original charm for the 15th anniversary exhibition, which can be attached to a leather strap. This is a great opportunity to get your own original leather strap that can only be made here.

Even a clumsy person like myself will be able to complete a magnificent strap as the staff will carefully teach you how to make one!
You can choose from black, white, or red leather. The author chose red, which is reminiscent of Rio Reus!
