As Sougo aims to become "the best demon king," his future self, Omagio, asks him the question, "What on earth did you want to become king for? What on earth did you want to be king for? As Sougo stares back at Ohmadio, he sees the thoughts of his friends overlap with his own expression. Gates, who has come from the future to stop Sougo from becoming the worst Demon King, says, "I met Sougo, and while we were fighting and living together, I somehow fell in love with him," and reveals how his feelings changed after meeting Sougo. I didn't hate you. I didn't dislike it at all," Woz, Sougo's follower who will become Ohmadio in the future, says, "I didn't dislike calling you 'my demon king.
