Anisama 15th year anniversary project! Anisama Playback of the past Anisamas! The final "Animelo Summer Live 2018 "OK!"" Three days of production linked to the anime and surprises filled with love for the artists had everyone shouting "OK!

Animelo Summer Live" (hereafter, "Anisama"), the world's largest anime song event that brings together the top artists in the anime song world, will celebrate its 15th anniversary this summer with "Animelo Summer Live 2019 -STORY-" (hereafter, "Anisama 2019").

To commemorate this anniversary year of Anisama, Akiba Research Institute takes a year-by-year playback of past Anisamas!

Let's hear from anime and anime song writers who participated in the Anisama back then, as well as their memories, and get excited about Anisama 2019, which will be held over the three days of August 30, 31, and September 1, 2019!

So, in this, the final installment of the series, we'll be looking at Animelo Summer Live 2018 "OK!", where everything was fully affirmed under the slogan "OK!

This time, Junichi Tsukagoshi, who witnessed the live performance on site, will be in charge of this issue.

The theme of "Animelo Summer Live 2018 "OK! The word is so versatile that the artists who performed at the event used it at every opportunity, and it was keenly felt during the three days that these two words have the magical power to instantly change the atmosphere around them into a positive one. Listening to music often makes one's heart beat and one's mind happy. Perhaps "OK!" is the word that condenses such a mood. The theme song "Stand by...MUSIC! was also impressive for its straightforward lyrics that expressed the wonder of music in words.

The first day of "Anisama 2018," however, what shocked me the most was the stage performance by Ren (Tomori Kusunoki). Speaking of Kusunoki, she was a voice actress who had just debuted at the time, and for myself, I never expected her to suddenly take the stage at Anisama. She herself had always wanted to be an anime song artist, and I had followed her singing career as a writer, so I was happy to see her, but what caught my attention most was that she was truly enjoying herself on that stage. This was evident from the backyard footage, and I look forward to seeing more of this strong heart in the future.

DearDream, who always gave the impression of being cheerful and having a lot to say during interviews, was also performing in the midst of preparing for their final live at Nippon Budokan. I was extremely impressed by their bright, stretched, and sparkling performance.

who were preparing to end their activities as a voice actress unit, also gave an emo stage performance. During the performance of the super famous song "Polaris," the live images of their past Anisama performances were shown on the screen, and during the interlude, comments from their allies and juniors from the same era, such as Run Girls, Run! This made even the members weep. However, it was precious that they sang with dazzling smiles on their faces until the end.

Anisama 2018 left a lasting impression on me with its many stylish performances like this. Among them, the most interesting one for me personally was the performance on the second day.

Every year, artists surprise us with collaborations that would not have been possible without Anisama, and following the collaboration between Suzuko Mimori and Aya Uchida from μ's, the second day featured a collaboration between Marei Uchida and Inori Minase from Petit Rabbit Girls! who are connected to Petit Rabbit's, collaborated on the second day!　It was quite a rare opportunity to see two of the next generation of voice-over artists, who have risen on stage at about the same time and will both be Nippon Budokan artists in 2019, perform together on stage. As a long-time reporter of "Is Your Order a Rabbit?" I was quite aggravated as I have been covering the ...... for many years.

The subsequent performance of "Umamusume Pretty Derby" was a novel production in which the audience actually ran around the venue and raced in the race, and "Proclamation! Teikoku Kagekidan" by the Starlight 99 group was also very exciting, as it seemed to connect the history of anime and game songs in a single line.

The two did a solid job on their respective solo stages. However, things started to get a little strange when Taketatsu appeared as a customer at the cafe during fhána's "Rhapsody in the Blue Sky," and while everyone else was dancing, he proceeded to eat meat by himself. After a short intermission, a big speech by Tanya Degrechav (CV. Aoi Yuki / "Juvenile Senki") was performed, followed by a surprise appearance by petit milady as a full-fledged artist.

However, they are not two people who give an ordinary live performance there. Of course, they sang well, but during the MC, they acted strangely by moving to the accompaniment of their own voices that had been pre-recorded. After another song, the audience understood what they meant.

Toshio Furukawa read out the lines that Aoi Yuuki had just spoken, and Shigeru Chiba read out Ayana Taketatsu's lines, and the two on stage also moved in time with them. The production of "POPTEPIC," the most controversial anime of the year, was performed live, with the same (almost) identical content being broadcast twice in a row, and completely different voice actors voicing the characters. I was really impressed by the power of this idea, and petit milady was really cool as they left with a headbang to the song "Onenen Kon-chan" from "POPTEPIC" at the end! I was so impressed.

On the third day, a band called THE MONSTERS appeared and sang "Snow halation" from "Love Live! Hellshake Yano from "POPTEPIC" appeared again, and after a high-speed picture-story show by the AC Department, Sumire Uesaka sang the theme song "POP TEAM EPIC. ".

POPTEPIC" was a legendary shitty anime representing 2018, but of course you have to know the work to get the groove or understand it. Still, I was impressed by Anisama's attitude of "If we have an interesting idea like this, we will do it," and I also thought, "That's what Anisama is all about!" I also thought, "That's what Anisama is all about! They do their best to make things interesting. And they never compromise on the direction. I hope they will continue to do so in the future. As mentioned above, "Anisama 2018" marked many milestone moments for artists such as DearDream, Wake Up, Girls! The climax of the third day was Milky Holmes, which was scheduled to end its activities in February 2019. They, too, closed the last Anisama with smiles with three of their best songs in terms of song selection, backed by the stage images from previous Anisamas.

As I watched JAM Project, who came on stage next and performed as the last performer, it occurred to me that in the long history of Anisama, some artists have debuted and some artists and units have left the stage. In the midst of the turbulent anime song scene, Anisama has become an indispensable presence that has always existed and accepted everything in its 14 years of existence.

Since the beginning of Anisama's history, JAM Project has been at the forefront of the fight for anime song culture. It seemed to me that there was great significance in the fact that they graced the last of 2018. Perhaps it was because of this "Anisama 2018" that the theme for the 2019 Anisama, which marks the major milestone of its 15th year, became "Story.
