Bose Direct Store Akiba Trim, a directly managed store of audio brand BOSE, will close on February 24, 2020 (Monday, national holiday). The store is located on the 2nd floor of Akiba Trim, a station building directly connected to Tsukuba Express (TX) Akihabara Station.

The Bose Direct Store Akiba Trim is the first Bose directly managed store in Japan to offer a lineup of mainly mobile audio products, including direct sales of limited edition models not available at mass retailers. The store opened on Friday, April 12, 2013, and will close after seven years of operation.

Bose announced around mid-January 2020 that it plans to close 119 directly managed retail stores worldwide, including Japan, within a few months.

Bose Direct Store Akiba Trim is currently holding a "Close Sale" until February 24 (Mon., holiday), when the store will close, with special prices on all products in the store.
