Darksiders Genesis, an action-adventure RPG from Australia, will be available on Nintendo Switch on February 14.

THQ Nordic Japan is pleased to announce that Darksiders Genesis, the latest title in the Darksiders action RPG series developed by Austrian company THQ Nordic GmbH and Airship Syndicate, Inc, The game will be released for Nintendo Switch on February 14, 2020 (Friday). This title will be available exclusively as a downloadable title for 4,780 yen (tax included).

This is the long-awaited fourth title in the "Darksiders" series and the latest in the series created by Airship Syndicate, led by comic artist Joe Madureira, who has created a unique worldview. Strife, the last of the "Four Knights of the Apocalypse," finally appears. Together with one of the same four knights, "War," Strife and his fellow knight, "Darksiders" is an action-adventure RPG that takes players on an adventure to hell, where they will use guns and swords to defeat demons, angels, and everything in their path.

It is a prequel to the first game in the "Darksiders" series, and follows the exploits of the four knights of Strife.

The first title in the "Darksiders" series, "Darksiders Warmastered Edition," will be on sale for a limited time from February 7 to February 20 at a 70% discount.

<Story
Since the time of creation, the Council has maintained the harmony of all things. The four knights of the Nephilim (a powerful race created from an unusual fusion of angels and demons) swore allegiance to the council and were given mighty powers to execute their lives. But this power came at a terrible price. The knights were ordered to use their newfound power to exterminate their own kind. In Eden, the four knights, under the orders of the council, fought a bloody battle to destroy the Nephilim.

War and Strife, still haunted by the events in Eden, were given a new mission. Lucifer, the enigmatic and mysterious king of demons, has empowered the demon lords of Hell and plans to destroy harmony. War and Strife must deal with the demon lords, gather information, and thwart a complex and intertwining demonic plot to permanently shatter harmony and expose the secrets of creation.
