SQUANI will deliver a major update for FFXIV, Patch 5.2 "Reminiscence of the Wicked Star" on February 18 (Tuesday). Trailer also released.

SQUARE ENIX announced that a major update to its online RPG "FINAL FANTASY XIV" (FFXIV), "Patch 5.2 'Wicked Star of Remembrance'" will be released on Tuesday, February 18, 2012.

Patch 5.2 will bring a new dimension to each of the two worlds, the "First World" and the "Primordial World," where adventures will take on a new dimension. In the raid dungeon "Eden of Hope," the story with "Gaia," a character designed by Tetsuya Nomura, a well-known character in the FF series, is now in full swing! In addition, various contents for making and gathering items will be added, allowing players to enjoy the world of FFXIV more freely.

A trailer for patch 5.2, "Wicked Star of Remembrance," has also been released today.
