Celebrating "Zombieland Saga" Triumphant Live in Saga Prefecture! A report on the pilgrimage to the holy place while covering the event! Summer Vacation Special Event

On Saturday, July 27, 2019, the idol unit Francheche, which appears in the original TV anime "Zombieland Saga," held its triumphant return to Saga Prefecture at Furusato Kaikan Alpino (hereinafter referred to as "Alpino") in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.

The stage was packed to capacity, and live viewing was also held at theaters across Japan. The whole of Japan was colored with the color of Saga.

The first triumphant return live performance of a very popular and high-profile work, I couldn't stand still and flew to Saga (actually, I took the bullet train, so I didn't fly, but I flew ......).

In the limited time of two days and one night, including the day of the live concert, the reporter visited Karatsu Station, Nishi-Karatsu Station, and the sacred sites near Saga Station.

Saturday, July 27

The reporter took the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen bullet trains to Hakata, and from Hakata to Karatsu, the venue of the event, he took the Fukuoka City Subway and JR Chikuhi Line. Unfortunately, there were no passengers on the train in which this reporter boarded that looked like they were headed to the venue, but as the Karatsu station approached, the feeling grew stronger and stronger.

Although we could not see the sun, the weather looked like it would hold out. We were enjoying the trip while watching the scenery from the train window, but around the Nijinomatsubara station, which is well-known for the Karatsu Burger main store used in the eye-catcher, it started raining hard. ......

The live concert venue is located right next to the station, so the trip itself was not so difficult, but I thought it would be hard to explore the town ....... However, by the time we arrived at Watada station next to Karatsu station, the rain stopped completely, and by the time we arrived at Karatsu station, the sun was shining. By the time we arrived at Karatsu station, the sun was shining.

When I got off at the station, I was greeted by a "Zombieland Saga" character panel. As it was just past noon, we were welcomed by the characters and headed for the shopping arcade to get something to eat first.

At a restaurant at the end of the shopping street, we tucked into a lunch of Saga beef steak and hamburger steak cooked on a hot iron plate, and then headed to the sacred area around the station. We toured the objects in front of the station, the stall village by the Furusato Kaikan Alpino, where the live concert was held, and other places associated with the work.

In the shopping arcade, "Zombieland Saga" characters could be seen here and there.

Many fans had already gathered in the plaza in front of the venue when the reporter arrived. In addition to collaboration goods, T-shirts and other live goods were being sold at the souvenir corner inside the hall. In addition, a photo booth was set up in the parking lot of Alpino, and the place was crowded with people from all walks of life.

The food stall village shown in the ending video of the TV anime was located just behind Alpino, under the elevated train tracks. When we dropped by after the concert (after 5:00 p.m.), some of the stalls were already crowded with regular customers.

Karatsu Station

Fransouchou's memorable first live concert was held at the plaza in front of Karatsu Station. A statue of the Hikiyama used in the local festival "Karatsu Kunchi" was standing proudly.

POPs of the characters were also placed everywhere in the station premises, serving as photo spots.

The wrapping train, which had been in service since July 26, the previous day, arrived at 2:44 p.m. and departed at 4:47 p.m. for the most recent photo opportunity. Although it was just before the start of the live concert, I bought an admission ticket and took a picture so as not to miss the chance! I immediately rushed to the venue.
