Team up with a buddy to destroy the enemy. For a limited time, visitors can try out the "Gunfight" mode of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest installment in the FPS milestone series, will be released on October 25, 2019. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it will hold a trial of the new "GUNFIGHT" mode, which will be implemented in this title, from August 24 to 26.

The first "Call of Duty" game was released in 2003 on PS3, Xbox and PC. Many sequels followed, and when "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" ("CoD4") was released in 2007, the series skyrocketed in popularity and has become one of the most popular titles in the world. This title is based on the theme of rebooting CoD4. Players will travel the world's battlefields as a "Tier 1 Operator" or an Arab soldier in a variety of positions in "Modern Warfare".

GUNFIGHT, the game being tested at this year's event, is a team deathmatch in which four players are divided into two teams of two, and the objective is to annihilate the opposing team. The objective is to annihilate the opposing team. The player who wins the most rounds ultimately wins. The map is generally small, and the number of players is small, so cooperation with allies is important.

To participate in the test, players must be at least 18 years old, own a PS4, and be able to pay with a credit card. To participate, players must pay for the contents prepared for the test (100 yen [tax included]) at the PlayStation Store with a credit card payment. Note that you will not be able to play if you have not registered your card. Two open beta tests will be held in the middle of next month, so those who cannot participate this time may want to consider that. Details are as follows.
