New costumes are sailor style! The "THE iDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS" Summer Party featured live performances and public recordings with an increased level of perfection!

On August 18, 2019, "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS SUMMER PARTY 2019", an event of "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS" ("Shiny Colors"), was held at Pacifico Yokohama National Grand Hall.

The units performing at this event differed between the daytime and nighttime performances, with the daytime performance featuring Hitomi Sekine (played by Mano Sakuragi), Reina Kondo (played by Toori Kazano), and Mayu Mineta (played by Meguru Yamiya) from the "Illumination Stars," Karin Isobe (played by Koizane Tsukioka), Chisa Suganuma (played by Mamisa Tanaka) from "Antika Anna Yamaki (played by Sakuya Shirase), Runa Narumi (played by Yuka Mimine), Mizuki Yuna (played by Kiriko Yuya), Yuki Tanaka (played by Asahi Serizawa), Eri Yukimura (played by Yuko Mayuzumi) and Sayaka Kitahara (played by Aiyori Izumi) of "Stray Light"; 11 members from 3 units performed. They enlivened the party with live performances, public recordings, and other corners.

The new costumes were Innocent Sailor, perfect for summer!

Ms. Hazuki Nanakusa, a clerk of 283PRO, appeared on the screen and first greeted the audience and gave a few words of caution. She asked the producers (a term used by "THE iDOLM@STER" fans), "Are you excited? in her typical relaxed tone to raise everyone's spirits. Then, the grand summer party finally got underway.

When the members appeared on stage after the opening movie featuring illustrations of cute idols enjoying summer, there was an immediate stir. The girls were wearing their new "Innocent Sailor" costumes. The base color was a fresh white with a hint of light blue, and each unit had a different sleeve shape and ribbon color, as well as a large beret.

The first song performed by the members in their new costumes was "Spread the Wings! The first song was "Spread the Wings! This song, which symbolizes "Shiny Colors," looked great with the sailor-style costumes. The smiles on their faces and their steps were light and lively, and their voices and movements were full of joy.

After introducing themselves one by one, the audience listened to the open recording of "THE iDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS HABATAKI RADIO STATION" (hereinafter called "Shani Radio"), which is available on Asobistore. The content was an event version of a segment that is usually done on the program. The first one is "Idol's Decision Making Service," which is an arrangement of the corner in which Stray Light decides what the producer is unsure about. . This time, Stray Light decided on a solution to the problems of other units.

The Illumination Stars' problem was "How to decide on a greeting for Shani Radio," and Antica's problem was "How to solve global warming," which was a target problem. The talk was entertaining as well, with behind-the-scenes stories about the greeting popping up and a certain word being used to great effect.

The second corner was "Birth! S-rank Cool Idol. Members of Illumination Stars and StrayLight were asked to "pretend to be an S-ranked cool idol" and say a few words in response to the theme. The judging was done by Antica, who would give out a "cool tag" if she thought they were cool, and a "blizzard tag" if she thought they were not cool.

The theme was "A cool word when you bite 'Ohayo Gozaimasu' (Good Morning) and say 'Ohayo Gozaimasu' (Good Morning)," and the participants showed various cool words they thought up. Some of them used words and some of them used movements to express their coolness.

Quiz questions from the location of the training camp on Hatsushima!

Following the open recording part, a mini-drama titled "Shanimasu Mini Theater - Our Summer Vacation" was performed live. The drama depicted the story before all the idols of 283Pro went to the training camp together, and it was a fun time for the audience to hear the dialogue between the different units.

The mini-drama was followed by a performance of the actual training camp held by the cast members on Hatsushima Island in Shizuoka Prefecture. The camp was divided into two groups: the daytime and nighttime performers. Here, the daytime performers were seen exploring Hatsushima, eating delicious seafood, and enjoying the fireworks.

Then, the members reappeared for the "Reward Contest! VTR Quiz". Stray Light, who had participated in both locations, acted as the host for this quiz corner that used footage from the camp location shoots. In the daytime performance, quiz questions were asked from the training camp VTR of the nighttime performance members. Incidentally, if there was no correct answer, it could be considered a correct answer at Stray Light's sole discretion.

A reward was also prepared for this quiz, and "Team Hohowa" (Sekine & Isobe), "Team Miracle" (Kondo & Narumi), "Team Senpai Gijunin" (Mineta & Yuna), and "Team Stable" (Suganuma & Yamaki) each answered the questions in pursuit of their reward.

What kind of question was the XX game that the members gave to Ms. Shiraishi, who was challenging the activity? The members asked difficult questions one after another, in which guesswork and prediction, rather than knowledge, were the key. In the question to guess what Ms. Kuroki said to the After School Climax Girls below her while she was crossing a high place, many teams answered the famous line, "People are like trash. However, Ms. Kuroki was more interested in appealing to the audience with her own words, "How about me from the angle from below? and was in the direction of appealing to the audience.

In addition, the question of guessing what the After School Climax Girls did to Stray Light, the relationship between Ms. Yukimura (played by Yuko Mayuzumi Fuyu) and Ms. Hiyori Kono was given as a hint. As a result, all the teams failed to answer the question (the correct answer was "Fuyu Yuko P interrupted"), but there was laughter when Ms. Kono's "Fuyu Yuko P" side came out in her answer.

The live stage was a highlight of the event, with some songs being performed for the first time!

The second half of the event was the live part. First, the Illumination Stars performed "Niji ni nare (Be a Rainbow). All three members, who had changed into their unit costumes, sang with a spirited voice that seemed to reach the sky, blending power and cuteness.

The song "We can go now!" from the new CD series "FR@GMENT WING 02," which started in April of this year, was performed. The stage was filled with energy and the producers' shouts became louder as they performed the song. The chorus of "Lee le mi ne" and "Everybody let's go!

The distinctive personalities of each unit were one of the main characteristics of "Shiny Colors," but the atmosphere changed drastically when Antica appeared on stage next. Stray Light performed "Wandering Dream Chaser" for the first time. The intensity and speed of their stage performance, which was so cool that the tension in the audience was soaring. The dynamic and sharp dance moves and powerful solo parts showed that the dancers had been taking lessons for this day, and the cheers after the song were the best proof of their impressive power.

When all the members appeared on stage again, they performed "Ambitious Eve" in a V-shape formation. The performance showed that the individual growth of each member had greatly increased the power of the group as a whole. The warm and enveloping voice of the singers soaked into the heart of the audience during "Someday Shiny Days". At the end of the song, when Sekine-san, the center of the group, moved his head to look around the venue, he looked so happy, which seemed to sum up everyone's feelings.
