SEGA AGES Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Switch will be released on February 13!

SEGA Games announced that SEGA AGES Sonic the Hedgehog 2, an action game for Nintedo Switch, will be available on Thursday, February 13, 2020. The game will be exclusively available for download and only on the Nintendo eShop. The price is 999 yen (including tax).

This title is a port of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2," the second title in the "Sonic" series released on the Mega Drive in 1992, for the Switch.

The "Original Mode" faithfully reproduces the Mega Drive version; "Ring Keep Mode" lets you start the game with Sonic holding 10 rings, which replace his life, and halves the number of rings that fly off when he takes damage; and "Super Sonic Mode" lets you experience the golden form and overwhelming power of "Super Sonic. The game can be played in three basic modes, including "Super Sonic Mode," in which the player can experience a "Super Sonic" state in which he becomes a golden figure and gains overwhelming strength.
